4. Indiscretions

I laughed my head off as I saw Bill run out of the bar behind me. His fist balled at his side in anger. Bill was pissed, but I couldn't care less. He may think he has one over me, but I know my brother. After my father ran out on us, my brother took his place. We were there for each other when the world decided it wanted to be against us. My brother has always tried his best to protect me. So I knew there was nothing Bill could do to stop me. Especially not now with the expansion taking place.

Stone Enterprises just signed an agreement in Europe. It was the deal of a lifetime. Stone Enterprises would now be an international conglomerate, which meant that my brother's focus wasn't on my minor indiscretions. Rather his focus was split on creating new tech and organizing the new offices in Europe. He had even contracted this high-end Architect to help us design the buildings. He had found one in Europe, as he wanted to make sure all the buildings were up to building code in every location. The last thing we needed was to break an unknown building code. Especially since all eyes were on us. Being a tech firm meant that everyone paid close attention to everything we did.

I had temporarily forgotten about the girl I had taken earlier until I felt her crawl her way towards me.

"What's so funny, hot stuff?" She said as she straddled me. Her claw-like fingers grazing up and down my chest as she kissed my jaw.

Instead of responding to her, I pulled her close in a deep kiss. She was here for one purpose, and one purpose only- to fulfill my needs. I didn't want to talk to her or connect with her in any way that wasn't sexual in nature. If I did that, she would begin to think she was special or something- a risk I wasn't willing to take.

We made it in short time to the hotel room I had reserved. My driver was discreet and had dropped us off at a private entrance. After a few hours of hot sex, I was happy to see that she had passed out. She lay naked on the bed.

I quickly got out of bed and grabbed my clothes. I made my way to the entrance where my driver had dropped me off earlier.

"Drop her off wherever she wants." I say, nodding towards the building.

Ted has been my driver for over a year now. He knows my habits, which means there's little I need to say. Once he's dropped me off at my next stop for the night, he'll come back here to take Raelynn back home.

Ted nods at me, then opens the door to the car. I jump inside, anxious to get to Stephanie. She was always good in bed. I was just worried she was beginning to grow attached to me. We had an unspoken agreement. However, I'd noticed that she's started to break some of the rules. She was coming to my work searching for me, and I began to run into her more often than I was expecting. It was almost as if she was getting good at knowing where and when I would be. I was partially worried; because I definitely don't think with my brain when it comes to her. So, I'll use her how I see fit for now.

When I got to the room, Samantha was lying naked on the bed, waiting for me. I smiled as I walked towards her. I loosened my tie, dropping it to the floor as I walked towards her. I didn't waste any time getting it started. I wasn't one to show feelings. It was sex and nothing else.

Just like Ryley, Sasha was out cold on the bed. I quickly grabbed my clothes and got changed, and made my way back to my waiting car. Shane was one of my other drivers. Similar to Ted, Shane was discreet and always knew to come back to the hotel to pick up my latest conquest and drive them home. I may be a bachelor, but I'm not heartless. My mom always taught me to respect women. And while she probably wouldn't like my actions, I knew she would be proud of me for at least making sure they made it home safely. Even though I may not pay attention to them enough to learn their name, I would still feel bad if something happened to them after our encounters.

I was partway back to my condo when my phone started to ring.

"Vincent? What's going on?" I ask my head of security.

"Sir, I apologize for the late call, but it appears some of your cars have been damaged."

"What? How?" I ask.

"There was a break-in. We believe it to be one of your female friends." Vincent says.

I roll my eyes at his insinuation. I don't have many friends outside of work. I've never really needed them. I had my brother for that. Plus, ever since I started working for my brother, I found people only wanted to be with me because of my money. It was hard to find genuine friends that wanted to be with me for me. Some may find it to be a lonely life, but I was content with it. I had everyone I needed.

"How?" I ask, skipping over asking who it was. I wouldn't know anyway, so there was no point in telling me useless information.

"It appears to be an isolated incident. A woman broke into the underground garage and smashed the cars there with a baseball bat. We have since apprehended her and turned her over to the police. She is in jail at the moment. We've already contacted your lawyer, and he is currently talking to the girl's lawyer. He's making a deal to set her free so long as she pays for the damages."

I nod my head in agreement. This was probably my favourite part about having money as my people would quite literally talk to your people. I hired these people for a reason. Not only were they great at their job, but they also knew how little I wanted to be involved with these things. Their job quite simply was to make sure it wasn't my job. I trusted each of my people and treated them more than fairly. I would often help their families, whether that was helping out with tuition, moving expenses, benefits, and so on. I learned from an early age that if you treat someone right, they won't feel the need to betray you. It was probably the only rule I followed in life.

I was happy to see the car pull to the private entrance of my condo. Shane quickly exited the car and opened my door. As I got out, Shane's phone began to ring. Shane immediately looked embarrassed and tried to silence the phone.

I quickly waved my hand, signalling him to answer the phone. Shane's wife was thirty-two weeks pregnant. Shae was never one to be on his cell phone during work. However, he had asked to have it on him should his wife need anything. This is why if his phone was ringing now, I could only assume that it was his wife, and the call was important.

Shane smiled at me as he picked up the call.

"Baby, is everything ok?" He asked.

I watched as his eyes grew wide.

"WHAT?! NOW?!" He yelled.

I could see the colour in his face pail as whoever was on the other end of the line continued to talk.

"Of course. Right away." Shane quickly hung up the phone and turned to look at me.

"Is everything alright?" I asked him.

"That was my sister. Apparently, Liv has gone into labour. They've taken her to emergency."

My eyes went wide in shock. I knew his wife was pregnant, but she still had over a month before her due date.

"What are you waiting for? Go!" I said to him, gesturing for him to leave.

"But Sir, what about you, or Scarlett?" Shane asked.

I looked at him curiously, wondering who he was referring to. Shane saw my confused look and answered my unasked question.

"The girl you just left."

"Oh, is that her name? I thought it was Sharon."

Shane remained silent, waiting for my response.

"Don't worry about her. I'll call Phillip now and arrange for him to take her home."

"But how will you get to work?"

I realized then what he meant. Ted was waiting to drive Roselyn back to her place, Shane would be with his wife, and Philip would be waiting for Sofia. I couldn't even drive myself, as my cars had all been damaged. I shook my head, clearing my mind.

"Don't worry about it. I'll just work from home tomorrow. So I won't even need a ride." I say, finding a solution.

Shane smiled and quickly ran to the driver's seat of the car.

"Thank you, Sir." He responded before revving the engine and zooming out onto the highway.
