Ella woke up in the morning, surprised that she had fallen asleep in a standing position inside the cage. She checked for her power stone and was relieved that it was still there. She didn’t want to use it unless it became urgent; otherwise, the witch would snatch it away from her, and she was scared that her powers would increase. It was a steep hill, and so it seemed like a backbreaking task for Ella to climb the top of the hill. She could see an old building right on the topmost point of the hill. It seemed to be dark and scary from a distance. Ella wondered how these witches could survive in such a dark, old residence of theirs. She wanted to know if the witch resided there all alone or if there were more witches staying with her. She felt like she was on a trekking adventure.Ella climbed up the hill as fast as she could. She wanted to reach the building before sunset to avoid being frightened by the darkness.
