Driving home, Leo was confused that there were police checkpoints. He wondered why, or what happened that caused it.

He drove his car forward as he wait in line for his turn to be searched making him sigh as it was now a delay.

His phone began ringing, it was his wife. He connected it to his earpiece and picked up the call. "Hello."

"Hey, hon. Where are you?"

"I'm on my way. The kids are back, right?"

Alexa nodded. "Yeah, they are. You told me you were busy."

"I know. An impromptu meeting came up."

Alexa smiled. "I understand, but you're meant to be back yet. It's been a while since you told me you're already heading home."
