When little Leo was finally settled in his room, Mara stayed on the floor in his line of sight as he played with his toy cars. She knew that he would start crying again if she left him, but she also knew that she wouldn't need to stay for long. Food and play; there was no better combination to make him sleepy.

Within minutes, her prediction came true and she left the room as quietly as she could.

"Whew!", she sighed as she landed heavily on her bed. She loved her son, but she had to admit that looking after him was stressful sometimes. It wasn't like this when he was younger. She could only hope and also keep her eyes peeled to make sure that he would never grow up to become like his father. But in the meantime, she had something important to do. She rolled off the bed and shuffled over to the bathroom.
