MasukBrave's POV
The green-eyed, sneaking stranger was Alpha Callum. 'I'm dead.' Remembering that I'd smacked him caused my head to bang so violently that I almost passed out. The rest of the hall sprang up from their seats. I could see the looks of shock peeling from the corners of their faces, including that of Alpha Dan. His gaze zeroed in on me. I came back to my senses, tried to pull away from green eyes but he held me in even tighter. "I was just getting into the best part." My heart shook in my chest. He was the green bad Alpha that everyone feared and his mask, it was no longer there. I quickly reached out to the ground and started fixing the mask back onto his face and he held my wrist tightly, assessing me with a rather amused gaze. Was this how he liked his ladies before executing them? Playful and teasing? He turned out to be more of a maniac than I thought he was. "I'm sorry, I will fix your mask." He stopped me again and stared into my eyes without saying anything. "I was going to throw that off today anyways!" "Stupid, I'm stupid. The bond is more important." Definitely, rejecting a fat-assed omega had to be at the top of his priorities right now. I didn't think that he would try to accept me. Not like I would even want the cruel Alpha to. Apart from Alpha Dan, I never thought that anyone would look at me twice. It was just, I'd already faced my rejection and I didn't know if my wolf would be able to take the strain. But again, one way or another, today really seemed like the day that I am going to die. I should rather opt for the least painful option. "Don't worry about the bond pain, I will take the both of it for us!" Another stupid perk of being an omega, you could take the pain off from your mate when you were rejected. Something instantly flickered in his gaze, almost like he was puzzled and as soon as it came, it crumbled away. I waited for him to say the magic words while I was already bracing myself up for the pain and he said nothing. "You... you... want me to initiate it, don't you? Sorry about that!" "I... Omega..." "Don't dare!" He snapped at me. When I opened my eyes, he was frowning, so deeply that the temperature in the room dropped and it chilled my bones. "Isn't this what you want?" My eyes were flooded with so much confusion seeping into my veins. Does he know about the initial rejection and intend to give me some time just to recover before he rejects me, or does he have some other plans? "Why would I ever want to reject my mate?" He asked. I opened my mouth to speak. No words came out. "You must be making a mistake, Alpha!" I crashed to the ground, kneeling. "I am a weak omega and I am no mate material. I will not cause you any issues, the rejection is all on me!" He grabbed me up with a hand and stared right into my gaze. I know it's stupid but I was lost again in those green orbs and he made sure that I stared into them for long. "I will not have my mate kneeling down before anyone!" "And I know exactly who you are, little cub, more than you could ever know. I'm taking you as my mate and I'm making you my Luna." I stumbled back in my steps and my breath stopped. He had to be lying, maybe toying with me before he served the actual rejection, but that look on his face, it said that he was damn serious about the mate bond. My heart beat faster and louder and I heard footsteps right ahead of me. Dan was standing over us now, with a frown. His gaze was blazing right into me and I wanted to shudder. Alpha Callum had sensed it and he drew me closer until I felt the warmth of his skin on mine. I jolted. He made sure I stared into Alpha Dan's face hard and he smirked at the Alpha. "What's happening here, Alpha Callum!" He removed his gaze from me. "Nothing that should concern you!" Callum replied like he was having fun. "She's a member of this pack and everything concerns me." "She's my mate now so you don't have to worry about that." Callum responded. Alpha Dan's face shifted towards me and I wanted to pull away from him, but Callum's stare made me freeze. "Look at him, little cub, you're higher in position than he is now!" He led my face back towards Alpha Dan. I had no choice but to look at the Alpha now. He was shifting on both feet with so much anger unlike anything that I'd ever seen before. A large gulp went down my spine. "I just rejected you, Brave!" A shiver crawled on my skin. That's the first time he'd called me by my name since I've known the Alpha. "Go on, little cub!" Alpha Callum nudged me. I trembled violently, the weight of both their auras crushing into me. "He's... he's my second chance mate!" Something crossed into Alpha Dan's face and his hands squeezed tightly. "Reject her, Alpha Callum! She's not mate or Luna material." My stomach dropped to my feet when he said those words. It was just how little he thought of me. The man that I have held in my mind every night I go to bed, smiling sheepishly to myself. "Are you jealous because you couldn't keep her?" "Don't flatter yourself. She's nothing, just a little omega with no unique abilities." Alpha Callum leaned into Dan's hearing, almost brushing his ears. "If she's really nothing, why are you doing everything to keep her in your pack?" Alpha Callum's words burned low. Alpha Dan's face burned bright red with rage. I'd never seen him display any emotions before. He turned towards me, a jolt pulsed through the whole of my body. "Reject him!" My face fell. And so did Alpha Callum's expression. "You're still a member of this pack and we will not have anyone associated with him. You owe a duty to us. We've fed you and we took you in when you had nothing, you will reject him right now!" I shuddered even harder than I should have. He was right, though they had treated me like trash, they had still been the reason that I was alive. A murderous glint flashed in Callum's eyes as he turned towards Dan and then back towards me. "The ball is in your court, little eyes. Accept me and I will own you, take you and make you beg me to make you mine. And reject me, and I will ruin you nonetheless!" Their auras clashed and I whimpered with a shaking gaze.Callum's POVShe was exactly my type — those curves, those hips, and the soft fall of chestnut hair that made my whole body want to close the distance between us. If we weren't standing in enemy territory, I would have taken her already and given her the privilege of being my mistress. It wasn't every day you got to witness a fully fleshed, gorgeous woman standing this close to the most feared wolf in werewolf history.Yet, only moments ago, she'd had her face buried in another man's worn-out boxers. My teeth ground together and my stomach churned in a way it never had before.I wanted to lunge at her, tear her away, and make her mine on the spot. But that would be stupid. What were the odds that she was also my mate? Her eyes curved up at me with such clear innocence. Other women cowered under the sheer weight of my aura, shaking with fear — she didn't even flinch, like my reputation meant nothing to her.I wanted to go after her, claim her, make her mine. My wolf clawed at my mind,

BRAVE'S POVMy heart raced faster than the tears that instantly blurred everything before me."You want to reject me?" I gasped between breaths, supporting my weight with a chair.Dan's brows knitted on me. "You were expecting something else?""You saved me repeatedly, helped me when others bullied... I thought..." I shook my head repeatedly until it felt like my brain would fall off.Dan's face dipped into a frown. "You shouldn't go around making assumptions, omega. You were needed in the pack and I couldn't have hurt you!"Right. I pressed back the tears that burned in my eyes, swallowed back every one of my emotions and stared back at him."Right!" I was stupid to have thought anything would have happened between me and the Alpha heir.I was pathetic to have thought that I was even worthy of him. Hell, the moon goddess might think this funny, a joke to break me even more and some sort of entertainment for her."Go ahead, you wanted to reject me, right?" I tried to keep a calm face
Brave's POVI was lost in that set of deep green eyes and that perfectly carved face that could make the hearts of any she-wolves beat away out from their chests.Sadly for the green-eyed stranger, I'd had a crush already. And mine happened to be one of the finest men in Crescent Pack."Hey, you there!" He stared at me blankly, while I tried to avoid those ridiculously seducing eyes.I waved one hand sharply. "Yes, you, shoo away now, quick." His brows lifted but the dead meat made still didn't move. "We will pretend I never caught you sneaking around the Alpha heir's room." Again, he said nothing. My lips pressed tightly into a thin line. Maybe he's deaf? Doesn't speak English? Or stupid.Possibly both; saving lives was becoming a really difficult chore these days.I'd never seen him before in Crescent Pack. One of my biggest flexes was that I knew everyone. As the chief Omega, a fancy word I'd coined for the Pack's slave, I'd memorized the faces of everyone I'd served. Which is ev
