When Liam's soft, concerned voice reached Gwyneth's ears, it caught her off guard. Honestly, she couldn't remember the last time someone had shown genuine concern for her well-being.

Gwyneth couldn't help but think that the Glen family treated her like a complete stranger, like an enemy wishing for her downfall. In contrast, this man had gone so far as to ask a friend to track her down simply because he couldn't reach her over the phone. While his behavior bordered on childish, it also warmed her heart. With that in mind, Gwyneth mustered a faint smile and was about to turn to Liam to express her gratitude.
