A day ago before the Battle of Brancel, the Coast Guard ship Diana was patrolling the dangerous waters of the East of the country. Her mission is to scout and police the area and clear off local fisherman.

This 100 meter vessel is only a decade old and is the largest vessel of the Cardonian Coast Guard. She is equipped with various rescue equipment, a flight deck and hangar with an embarked AS365 Dauphin, twin RHIB's are also hanging from her sides. She is armed with a Bofors 57mm cannon on the aft and 25mm autocannons on each sides. She is well equipped for Coast Guard duties.

She previously served on the coast of Africa, helping poor African nations to patrol their waters. That be said, her crew is well experienced in sailing through different oceans and now they currently are.

The oceans beyond the coast are surpringly dangerous. They are hitting Sea State 4 on what is supposed to be a calm bay.
