Emma woke up to the continuous beeping of her phone. She sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep off her face. She picked up her phone, which was by the table next to her bed. It was almost 8am and she saw a couple of messages from Eric.

ERIC(yesterday, 11pm); please pick up my calls, I have been trying to reach you.

ERIC(12:10): I am so sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean all I said, please talk to me.

ERIC:(2:05): Emma, please call me back when you see my texts.

ERIC(7:05): please, can we meet up by the park today, I have something's to tell you and it's important that you know.

ERIC(7:50): I will be waiting by 4pm, please come.

Emma didn't reply any of the messages. She reluctantly got up from her bed, she had decided to call in sick today. She didn't feel like going out and no one was going to make her.

She wasn't sure if she was going to meet up with Eric. She was curious about all that he had to say but she wasn't sure if she wanted to hear it. What if it was best that she didn't? wh
