The turquoise water rushes up onto the white powdery sand as I slide my feet across it. The palm trees sway as the light breeze flows around me and I feel like I have landed in heaven. I can see the colorful coral reefs and all the exotic fish as I look into the clear waters.

“This is fucking awesome!” Brian yells and kicks sand back at us as he rushes toward the crystal-clear water. “If you guys need me, I’ll be swimming until we go home! Woo-hoo! Mother fuckers!”

The tourists are heavy here as we walk by several groups of them at a time. McKenzie looks lost for the first time in forever, and Devin seems lost in me, staring at me constantly like he’s my bodyguard.

My mind goes back to the jet and the quick mile-high club Devin made me join…well, I can’t say he made me join it. I was a willing participant. He surprisingly had a bedroom or small sleeping quarters on the jet, which made it pleasurable and just like any other time.
