A pleasant smell drifted through the air of the master bedroom.

Opening his eyes, Kaeden looked around the room, confused, and frowned. ‘Where is that smell coming from?’ He asked himself.

Turning his head, he saw Corbin was lying beside him. He moved closer and touched Corbin’s nose with his, and a smile tugged at his lips. Raising his hand, he cupped Corbin’s face and whispered, “Mate.”

Corbin smiled at hearing his words and opened his eyes. Looking into Kaeden’s eyes, he said with a tired voice, “I told you we were mates.”

Kaeden looked at his mate with a smile on his face and said, “I’m pregnant with twins.”

Corbin just stared at his mate as all the troubles having kids surfaced then said as he focussed his gaze on his mate, “Sleep, we’ll deal with it tomorrow.”

Sighing as the fresh scent of roses enveloped him into a calming state, Kaeden fell asleep.
