Chapter Fifteen
Secrets:
Morgan stretched out in the bed. She didn't have one dream last night. It was refreshing. She turned to her side, opening her eyes. She found a pair of big blue ones staring at her. Morgan let out a squeal. Claire began laughing, holding her side.
"That was awesome." Claire said tears were coming to her eyes. She was laughing so hard.
"Jerk." Morgan said playfully pinching her.
Morgan sat up and realized she was back in Gavin's cabin. She looked around confused. How did she get here? She thought about it as she let her feet hit the ground.
"He carried you in.....he was shirtless." Claire said giggling.
"Claire!" Morgan warned her.

Siren's Gulley: Morgan dropped Gavin's hand as they stepped out of the cabin. Gavin didn't notice his eyes fixated on the scene before him. Two big cliffs border a water passage. The sky was light and seemed to sparkle as if inviting them in. The setting sun gave the entrance a golden hue. Gavin frowned. He left Morgan side and headed as quickly as he could down the stairs and across the low deck. She hesitated, staring at the sky once more before following him. She reached the helm just in time to hear Jason and Gavin talking. "You said there was an emergency!" Gavin said, narrowing his eyes at Jason. Betrayal: She was floating through the darkness. It wasn't darkness like when she was running through the woods trying to escape. No noise; no sense of overwhelming fear. Just nothing. She felt like a giant weight was taken off her and she could breathe. As she drifted it was peaceful. She closed her eyes enjoying the calming feeling of this place. "Morgan!!" She heard a distant echo. She opened her eyes staring into the darkness. Did she hear something? Did she forget something? "Morgan!!" She jolted. There it was again. Her name. It was distant and faded but she heard it. Who needs her? Who was she forgetting? "Damn it Morgan come on!"

Liar: Morgan stood outside the cabin on the upper deck. This can't be happening, she thought. How could he not believe her? What would she have to gain? She was hurt and angry and then angry because she was hurt. She glanced back at the cabin door wanting to go back in. Wanting to talk to him. Wanting to make him understand. She began to turn back to the door but felt Jason's hand on her arm stopping her. " I'm sorry lass. Orders are orders." Jason said with remorse in his voice. Goodbye: Morgan made her way to the front of the helm. The men were still cheering and celebrating. She smiled seeing their reaction. She was very relieved to finally be out of the gulley. Jason saw her and smiled at her. She walked over and squeezed his shoulder "I don't know how you all came up or pulled that off but I'm thankful it worked." Jason chuckled. "Yes Thank god. The Sunflower Inn: Morgan didn't look back; the pull to stay was too strong. Claire clung to her hand as she made it into the city. It was a small fishing community she noted as she walked by several stands set up by the dock. The men eyed them curiously. She ignored them as they ventured further. The town opened up into a small market. She thought it was a little strange how it went straight to selling things but if people were new you wanted them to start buying and trading right away; why not Morgan thought. "Fresh fruit!"a woman called out to them. Claire looked at her letting her know she was hungry. Morgan nodded and headed over to the fruit stand. "Go on, which ones do you want?" Morgan said to Claire scooting her up to the stand.
The Morning Star Chapter Twenty-Three
Taken: Robbie leads Claire and Morgan through the small kitchen. They weaved in out of random supplies. Sacks of rice, potatoes, and flour laid out on the floor as the girls followed Robbie. In the very back of the kitchen was a door that led to the outside. They walked through it. Outside the sun was setting and the sky had a warm glow. Even though they were in town you could still feel the sea in the air. Walking out the back door of the inn you faced an old red barn. Robbie led the girls to it.
