Synopsis
Morgan and Claire run away one night to escape Claire's abusive father. They stumble upon a ship and thought this would be an easy way out. They should have known since their life has never been easy, this wouldn't be. The plan was simple start over, but that wasn't the case.The ship they stumbled upon was not a regular ship. It was a pirate ship and it's captain was out for revenge. Morgan and Claire now find themselves at the mercy of this Captain. They're a long ways from land and won't be docking anywhere soon. Morgan must find a way to make sure her and Claire survive.

Morgan stood in front of the kitchen sink staring out the window. She watched the waves crash on the cliffs below. Gavin had built a house for them overlooking the sea. Morgan was in a bit of trance watching the waves break. A loud noise coming down the stairs drew her attention. Gavin dropped his baggage loudly on the wooden floor. Morgan sighed slightly. The Sunflower Inn: Morgan didn't look back; the pull to stay was too strong. Claire clung to her hand as she made it into the city. It was a small fishing community she noted as she walked by several stands set up by the dock. The men eyed them curiously. She ignored them as they ventured further. The town opened up into a small market. She thought it was a little strange how it went straight to selling things but if people were new you wanted them to start buying and trading right away; why not Morgan thought. "Fresh fruit!"a woman called out to them. Claire looked at her letting her know she was hungry. Morgan nodded and headed over to the fruit stand. "Go on, which ones do you want?" Morgan said to Claire scooting her up to the stand.
