LOGINVanya.
My body hurt all over, and my head ached from crying all night. I had no idea how much time had passed since I was dragged into this cold cell. There was no window or any reliable source of light. I collapsed on the floor as emotions rushed through me. Now that I was alone, I felt every wall holding me in place crumble to nothing. I held on to the rag that had been given to me as a dress, and rocked hard with tears and tremors. I wouldn't be in this position if Father had just listened to me. I wouldn't be here if Mother was still alive and everything was fine. I never wanted marriage like Father did. Did he know what hell I was going through at the moment? I was cold, and now, I’d die without him ever finding out. ~ ~ I jerked as water drenched my face, beating sleep out of me and making me gasp for air. One minute, I’d fallen asleep on the floor crying, and the next, I woke up to find myself standing with my feet and legs tied to a rod in a dimly lit room. The icy water dripped from my face down my body, and by the time I could see clearly, I felt my soul leave my body at the sight in front of me. Not far from where I stood, Ivan Petrov sat on a leather couch. His dark eyes were fixed on me. What the hell is this? I wished I could scream the question out as I took in the rest of my surroundings. It was just him and another man—the man he’d called Marco, the same man who had dragged me into the cell the very first day. Ivan’s deep voice drifted across the room. “You are finally awake.” He stood up, his gaze still pinned on me as he took long strides across the room toward me until he stood right in front of me. I glared at him, unable to stop the curses that formed so fast I wished I had the voice to haul them at him. How dare he treat me this way? What in God’s name have I done to deserve any of it?! If he didn't want me, all he had to do was send me back home instead of subjecting me to such inhuman treatment… “Look around you, Vanya.” Ivan drawled, shrugging out of his suit and tossing it to Marco as he folded the sleeves of his white long-sleeved shirt until the fabric hugged his toned arms. “Do you know where this is?” he asked. I frowned. I looked around but had no fucking idea where he had brought me to. “Right. I forgot you are supposed to be mute.” He let out a dark laugh. “The thing is… I don't quite believe that, and we just have to make sure you are not lying to me, don't we, mmh?” Panic crept down my spine at the sinister tone in his voice and just as I wondered what he meant by those words, Marco brought a box over from a table by the corner, where many tools had been spread carefully on the table. My eyes widened when he set the box carefully beside Ivan, then turned to leave The door shut heavily behind him, leaving me and Ivan all alone in the room. I felt a shakiness in my limbs as Ivan’s tall figure towered in front of me. The playful mischief in his dark eyes was gone and in its place was pure malice. “So let's try this one more time, Mute. Who are you keeping your voice for? For Anastasia or your father? Who will you sell my secret to?” Absolutely no one. I shook my head, wishing the words would come out so I could convince him. His legs, lame or not, his secret was none of my business. Was that what all this was about? I had no reason to tell anyone anything! “Use your voice!” he yelled, and I felt a shiver rush through me. “I know you can fucking speak, pretender!!” I can't. I’m working for no one! “Fine,” he said coldly, and with one last glance at me, he walked toward the table and returned with a knife. My eyes almost popped out of their sockets at the sight of it. What did he plan to do with it?! His response to my silent question was a rip. And before I knew it, the rag I wore as a gown was reduced to shreds at my feet. Cold air bit into my skin, and shame and awareness filled me at the thought of my body so bare before him. Clad in nothing but my underwear. I tried to force my hands together but the ropes were harsh and I could only get so far. I had no idea how I’d mustered up the courage to do so the first time in his room. Ivan’s eyes darkened even further. The corner of his lips twitched. He rounded me, stopping behind me and leaning close until I felt the hotness of his breath fanning down my neck. “I heard you are a virgin. Your father mentioned it so proudly to Anastasia.” I held my breath. My heart pounded uncontrollably in my chest as my fear increased a hundredfold. He cannot be thinking of… Oh God. Ivan dropped on one knee and I gasped when the ropes holding my legs sprang free, leaving only the one on my hands. He patted my legs, instructing me to spread them apart, but I clenched my teeth stubbornly and refused to budge, only to regret it the next moment when Ivan kicked me forcefully from behind and forced them apart himself. “Your virginity is definitely the only reason he has the guts to think you could ever be a fit for me. You wanted to be in my bed so badly you stripped and waited for me.” “Let me see how much of a virgin you are. Let me know how quiet you can be when I tear your cunt apart.” At the last word I kicked hard, aiming for him only to strike nothing but air, failing miserably. Ivan laughed, and a tear slipped down my cheek as he grabbed my hair and pulled hard, forcing my ear to his lips as he whispered hoarsely. “I’ll fuck you until those broken little cries rip free from your throat. You will scream… and it will be my name tearing out of you.” Rage exploded through me. The moment his grip loosened, I wrenched away from him. My free hand shook violently as I raised it between us and signed the word into the air with sharp, furious strokes. “Bastard.!” His smile vanished immediately.“Enough!” Ivan said, his face twisted with anger. He stepped closer to the woman still kneeling on the floor. “I’ve had it up to here, and let me make myself fucking clear!”“If anyone has the right to touch her, it’s me. She’s mine. If anyone puts hands on her, if anyone spreads her legs or treats her like a slut, it is only me. She belongs to me! She’s my whore. My property. I own her.”“So you’re going to kill your own brother after putting him on the point of death,” his aunt said, “and you are going to do this over a maid?”“Yes,” Ivan said flatly, taking another step further. “And not just because of that. I’ll make sure I break every bone in his body if that’s what it takes for him to remember exactly what he has done.”“No,” she said, scrambling forward. “You will not do that to my son. I won't let you have your way or do this to him. You’ve done enough, Ivan. You’ve done enough.” “I will do exactly what I want.” Ivan sneered. “And I will stop only when I choose to stop.” He
I wondered, watching the violence unfold. This is the same person he trained and watched grow up like he said. I couldn’t believe Ivan would go to this extent. Nikolai was his cousin, and more of a little brother to him.I knew from the stories I’d heard about how close the two of them were. They were close enough for Ivan to give him anything he wanted even before this, so what exactly was going on?I watched Ivan’s veins bulge in his temple as they continued to beat Nikolai to the point of collapsing, and when he fell, they propped him up to his knees again, holding him on both sides and kicking him. Both his eyes were swollen, and his lips were split as he pleaded, but even his voice sounded strangled. Yet…Yet, Ivan’s anger wasn’t anywhere near satisfied.I glanced at his face, at the darkness in his eyes and my belly tightened into a hard knot.If Ivan was this angry with Nikolai for taking me out, then he was surely angry with me too for defying him in his absence.Watching Ni
Vanya. The first thing I noticed when I woke up was Ivan’s room.I was in his bed, wearing a shirt that smelled like him, and still my brain stayed fuzzy.I didn’t remember getting in here or getting into that, and the more I tried to piece the fragments in my head together, the more my head throbbed. I heard Ivan’s voice in my head, and I shot up from the bed, my eyes wide as my heart pounded wildly in my chest.Had I not imagined him? Voices rose downstairs, cutting the rest of my thoughts short and I frowned, confused, as I stood slowly from the bed and almost headed out before glancing down at my legs. The shirt I wore was rather revealing, so I grabbed a pair of his sweatpants, which I found on a chair, pulled them on, and slipped out of the room, barefoot. The throbbing in my head worsened with every step, and the voices became clearer as I got closer to the source.I headed down the stairs and moved from the corridor almost reaching the large living room before I peeped in
“This is your fault,” I told her, loud enough for every listening ear. “You let him take you out! You left this mansion. You got drunk, and you let him drug you. He almost had his way with you! What the hell did you think would have happened if I didn’t show up? Speak to me!” She only cried harder, shaking her head, insisting she had pushed Nikolai away, that she had called for me. Anastasia’s voice cut in from nearby. “I told you, Ivan. I always knew that this particular girl was no good. She would never be good for you, Ivan. You’ll regret ever bringing her here.” She turned to me, venom dripping from every word she said. “I think it’s better to throw her out before she does something worse. She is a common whore who spreads her legs the moment the master turns his back.” “Just take a look at her, Ivan. She actually went to Nikolai. Didn’t she say she never liked him? It means she’s just a whore. Look at how she’s behaving. How can you let someone like her be in this place? You wa
“This is what happens when you are very stubborn. You don’t listen to me. You let yourself get drugged, Vanya.” Rage burned beneath my composure, directed entirely at Nikolai and at her for not seeing through his pretense before things got this bad. “I’m the only person in this city you are allowed to trust. The only one with any right to touch you and lay hands on you. Do you understand that, or do I need to carve it into you another way?”She nodded against my palm, her eyes glassy as she continued trying to work the lower buttons of my shirt open. I let her manage two before I pulled her head back by the hair. She protested, but I held her face by her cheeks, forcing her to look at me.“You are going to be punished for this thing you did tonight, Birdie.”She nodded again groggily, and I sighed.By the time we reached the mansion, Marco drove up straight to the entrance, and I got out and dragged Vanya with me.I wanted to be soft, but no matter how hard I tried, I was still furi
Ivan.Anger pulsated inside me as the car sped past the other Moscow vehicles, finally breaking away to pull out to the private road leading up to the Petrov estate. Marco was behind the wheel and Nikolai was secured in the trunk, though I wouldn’t give a fuck if we had him tied by a rope and dragged through the mud and dirt behind us. After what he’d dared to do.Beside me, Vanya burned.Whatever Nikolai had put in her system had not faded. She shifted restlessly against the seat, then climbed halfway into my lap, her dress already past her waist and revealing her panties as her hands moved over my chest and shoulders with desperate, uncoordinated movements. Her mouth found the side of my neck, and soft, broken sounds left her. I leaned in and caught a bit of it.“Please touch me. It hurts… so much. I’m so hot.”"Ivan..." her voice trailed off softly.“Touch… me… please…”Each word she uttered drove the wedge in my heart deeper until it fucking hurt to breathe. She grabbed my chin

Vanya I had heard the stories. Ivan Petrov was a ruthless man, a monster every soul in Moscow feared. A man who walks in secret, kills without mercy, the world believes he’s crippled while he tightens his grip on Moscow’s underworld. No one dared to cross him, not even now, when he lost the ab

Vanya. “Vanya!” The cold hit me first. A shock of freezing water slamming across my face and chest. I gasped, bolting upright on the thin mattress, my thin nightgown clinging to my skin like a second, shivering layer. “Vanya! Get up!” My stepmother’s voice sliced through the morning light l
