Tacha drove her car and they got to the bar in no time. They walked into the var and took their seat at a booth close to the bartender. There were just little customers in the bar as it was still early in the evening.

The bartender took their orders and served them without delay. Fiona couldn't believe she'd ended up in a bar by herself, considering she hadn't done something like this since having Kelvin.

"I guess being the mate to someone like Michael makes you do things you've vowed not to." Fiona thought to herself with a sigh.

She stared at the alcohol in the glass cup and gulped it down at once.
