I gripped the cold wall.

My hands and feet went numb.

The crash three years ago was Derek's plan?

The Alpha who pinned me down every night, who wore me out until I couldn't move, was his twin brother Damon?

And he kept me around just so I'd keep ghostwriting songs for Victoria?

Cheers exploded from the room.

"Boss, you're a damn snake."

"I always wondered why you settled for a mute Omega. Now it makes sense."

Derek didn't bother lowering his voice.

"Victoria is my stepsister. The Elders would never approve. Aria was just a shield."

"Lucky thing Damon helped. If Victoria knew I actually slept with that mute Omega, she'd throw a fit."

"Three years. Damon, you really took one for the team. Sleeping with a girl who can't even moan."

"Derek, your Mating Ceremony with Aria is in a week. What's the plan?"

"The ceremony goes on. New Luna is Victoria. I run this Pack now. I don't answer to anyone."

"And Aria?"

"If Damon wants her, she stays as a toy. If not, kick her out of the territory."

"You think she won't snap?"

"She's obsessed with me. She can't leave. Plus, her mother is mine. A mute Omega without Pack protection? She'd be dead in a week."

They all turned to Damon, smirking.

"Aria's got the body. You hit the jackpot, brother."

Damon scoffed.

"Jackpot? She lies there like a dead fish."

Whatever was left inside me cracked.

I ran out of the club.

Rain came down in sheets.

It soaked through me in seconds.

To pay him back, I gave Victoria my Songweaver name "W" and the song that won me the crown.

I pushed her onto the ritual stage and made her the Five Families' new favorite.

I kept writing for her. Never asked for credit.

Then tonight, the truth landed.

It was a setup from day one.

Wind howled.
