Gabriel's POV

I sped through the forest hastily, taking every shortcut to get out of the pack so noone won't catch up with me.

I failed again!

I paused on my track when I heard the howling of wolves.I sniffed through the air to check if it was rogues or Ryan's me.It appeared to be Ryan's men from the decent,I shifted back in my human form moving around in my wolf form would be too dangerous and they would catch up with me since my wolf was big and they will be able to spot me easily.

I moved carefully and hid at the back of the tree when I spotted two brown wolves,one was bigger than the other. I looked around carefully to see if they were just the only two for now.

I slowly brought out the silver pocket knife I had kept with me,I glanced around calculating the velocity that would take me to slit the two wolves' throats before they could make a sound.
