CHAPTER 5

It's almost dinnertime after a long period of time. Heizhen anticipates that his brothers will arrive before dusk, so he prepares dinner in advance so that they can eat right away.

 

Lian suggested that she prepare their dinner this evening. Heizhen initially balks, but after some encouragement and endearing gestures from Lian, he finally concedes.

 

Lian noticed a small bag of flour in the kitchen earlier while they were eating lunch. Tomatoes and other vegetables are also plentiful. Since she was also in the mood for one, she chose to make spaghetti for dinner. Even though making spaghetti from scratch takes a long time, she still chose to do it.

She first gather ingredients for the sauce that she’s making. Eight tomatoes was enough since the tomatoes here are really big. She also get some onions, garlics and luckily she found some dried basil leaves.

Lilian first boil the tomatoes then crush it in a bowl. Then, she cut the onions and the garlic into small pieces before starting a fire. There’s no gas stove in here so they are using the traditional stove. Luckily, Lian often go to campings so she knew how to start a fire.

She put the pan on the stove then when she made sure that it is hot enough, she put some oil in it. One by one she put the minced garlic and onions to the pan then after a while, she already put the crushed tomatoes.

Lian was so engrossed in her cooking that she failed to notice that the other four brothers had already arrived and were now standing by to observe her.

“Why is she the one cooking,Heizhen?” curiously asked by Zeus

“Wife volunteered to cook for us. I can’t stop her”

Aizen saw an attractive woman wearing green clothing as soon as he arrived at the kitchen door. She had her sleeves up, exposing her silky, white skin. Although his brothers were speaking a little loudly, she doesn't appear to notice them because she is too busy cooking.

“She’s beautiful right?big brother” his second brother Zeus, said while putting his arm on his shoulder

Even though Aizen remained silent, he agreed. She's really attractive, which is why he noticed her right away when he first saw her in the slave market. The seller claims that she just got there a day ago, so he's lucky to be the first person to see her. She is quite tall and has milky white skin, and apple-red lips. Although she is silent, the owner claimed that she is not mute. Most likely, she is just shy.

Minutes later, the sauce that Lian’s cooking is already done. The pasta is also done since she already made it before she start cooking the sauce. Now, the only thing left if for the sauce to be combine on to the pasta.

She turned her head around and was about to  call Heizhen for help on setting up the table when she saw some unfamiliar faces. The only one she recognized is Heizhen and Yuno.

She curiously stared at them when someone spoke.

“Ah! You haven’t met us right? We’re the rest of Montenegro brothers” oh, so they are her other husbands? Just as she thought. They are really good looking

“I’ll introduce myself first. I’m Aries, the fourth child of Montenegro family” He smiled widely at her

“Then this one in my right side is second brother, Zeus. And the one that is leaning to the doorside is our big brother, the eldest among us, Aizen”

The one called Zeus also smiled at her while Aizen just slightly nod his head

“Nice to meet all of you! Can someone set up the table? I’ve already finish cooking”

Heizhen immediately stand up and get the utensils while Lian go back infront of the stove to mix the pasta and sauce.

After a while, she transfer the spaghetti on a very large bowl then carry them to the table

“What a good fragrance, what food is that?” Zeus squeeze in beside her as soon as she sat at  put down the bowl

She smiled at him before answering  “It’s called spaghetti. Try it, I’m sure you’ll gonna like it”

“Really? Then pardon us” Zeus said then scooped some spaghetti and put it on his own plate. The other four also did the same so she also scooped hers.

“Hmm, It’s really good! This is the first time that I tasted something like this!” Heizhen exclaimed

Lian unconsciously smiled when she heard that. She never cooked for anyone before, so she didn’t know if the food will taste delicious to others since she just made it according to her taste, but she’s really glad that they like it.

“It’s really good. I’m surprise actually. I didn’t know that it will be this good” added by Zeus

The other three, especially Yuno, were silent but concurred. Because Lian just left yesterday and he assumed that she didn't want to see them, he didn't anticipate that she would make them food, but he believe that he was mistaken. Even while cooking them something delicious, she grinned at them. Well, maybe he'll forget about the time she escaped.

“Where did you learn to cook something like this?” Aries curiously asked

Lian was about to answer him but she stopped. She can’t tell him that she learn it on her own by watching youtube no?

Yuno noticed her strange behavior so he asked “What’s the problem?”

Lian put down her fork and bowed down her head “I- I can’t remember where I learn it. A-actually I can’t remember anything about my past. I- I don’t even remember my family”

Everything turned silent when they heard Lian speaking. She can’t remember anything?

Zeus was the one to recover and put  his hands on around Lian’s shoulders “Don’t be sad. It’s okay. We’re your family now aren’t we?”

Lian looked up and saw the five brothers smiling while looking at her so she also  smiled at them then nodded “Uhm! Thank you”

IIn fact, she felt bad about lying, but it's a white lie, right? She can't tell them she came from another world entirely different from this one, and it's the truth that this body has no memories of her past.
