How dare he remove him from the study when he already have introduced him to the girl as her uncle? He had high hopes that maybe this time, his father would consider his feelings that maybe the old man finally came to his senses and was now more open to the idea that he was family?

No, the bastard chose to drive him off after the formal introductions. Borris did not care of the girl, he just wanted to be in he same room as Teresa. She had given him a little smile when their eyes met and Boris was convinced that Teresa feels more than a friend. It could have been him and not Clay.
