She is in Los Angeles but didn’t tell me what she was doing there. I want so badly to call but she isn't mine. I made that clear by parading Elle around. Speaking of Elle, she found her way to see me while I was in London. The office is great and I really am excited. But there is something off and I can’t figure out what it is. “The problem is that your fucking wife isn’t there. You damn moron.” Allister frowns as he pours another glass of my expensive whiskey. “I have to protect her. She won’t be safe if I am still with her. You understand? Right Camden?” I look pleadingly to my other best friend. He looks as defeated as I feel.

Selene Touching down in Los Angeles was quite the culture shock. I have spent my entire life on the east coast. Not even once had I came here to visit. Hell I could never afford a coast to coast ticket. When I did start making money I was working too damn much to enjoy it. As soon as I came outside from LAX airport there were freaking palm trees as high as I could look upward. The sun was not the same sun that we got in New York. This sun knows how to relax. The airport was just as busy as the New York airports. I decided to get the full experience and flew first class on Delta and it was worth the time and energy. They seriously had a pregnancy package waiting on me in my seat. A barf bag, salty snacks and ginger snacks. Plus the food was all perfect for a growing baby. Not that I didn’t have a great flight crew but I had a damn horny woman trying to convince me to fuck her because as she said it, ‘the marriage doesn’t count above ten thousand feet.’ So, I ended up slipping a relaxing pill in her drink so she slept the entire flight. That was the one thing that got through to her. As I took a private car to my flat, I stared out the window looking at the beautiful overcast day here in London. The streets were filled with people rushing to get out of the rain. The same rain smell filled my nostrils that used to bring me such joy.
