Luckily the rain had stopped by the next morning. We quickly ate a light breakfast and packed up, deciding to leave Vic and Paul's tent behind. I didn't like not having alone time with Kitty but it was safer to have three of us to a tent and I would do anything to make sure that Kitty was safe.

The next few days were slow going. While the rain had stopped it was overcast and the mud made everything more difficult. We each had gotten our bikes stuck multiple times. Luckily we were able to push them out. Thank the Goddess for werewolf strength.

The days became routine. Get up. Forage and hunt. Eat whatever we could. Pack up drive all day. Stop. Set up camp. Hunt and forage again. Build a fire. Eat. Go to bed. It was draining. We were way behind our schedule and everyone was in low spirits.

"Does this remind you of when you were living in the forest last year?" Tommy asked Kitty on our ninth day.
