Chapter Sixteen - Unexpected Arrivals

Kari's POV

I ran after my brother up the stairs, something was wrong and even Hela was ready to protect her newfound family.

"Son." Came our father's voice as we went into the Alpha Suite.

"Where is Ingrid?" He asked.

"We tried to get you via the link but you blocked us out. She is in labor. Your mother is with her, as is the Queen. We have contacted the Doctor, but he is in surgery and will be here as soon as he can." My brother's face went white and he ran into what I assumed was his room. My father turned to me. "She is only four months old, so it's a little early. But they are twins."

"A little early. Five months is a little more than a little early," I declared. My father looked at me a little gone out before something obviously clicked in his head and he gave a little chuckle.

"Not to a werewolf, my little peppercorn." He said. "I know a human pregnancy is nine months, but a werewolf pregnancy is only five months. But being Alpha-blooded and twins, the pups are a little excited
