Mutiny:
Screaming, loud angry screaming. Danica shifted in the bed. She couldn't have been asleep long. Checking her surroundings he realized that Kaleb was gone. She stood quickly heading to the cabin door. The yelling becomes louder and clearer.
“She's not fit to be captain!” An angry slur came across.
“She is Gavin and Morgan’s daughter, it hers right.” Jacob’s voice said calmly.

Kiss: Ariadne slammed the last bit of paper down. She had redone all current contracts. She was exhausted and had an awful headache. She didn't know when the last time she ate was. She heard a soft knock at the door of the office. She looked at it wondering who it could be, Orion would just walk in. “Come in.” She called to the door, she was holding her head in her hands. She glanced down at the piece of cloth she had tied over her wound, that was once white now bright red. She sighed again, her hand was starting to ache the pain radiating down into her finger tips. She pulled open the drawer to the right of her. Reaching, she grabbed some bandages. She frowned and she needed something to clean it with. She stood going to walk to the door.The door opened up and Kaleb walked in holding a basin of water in his hands. She frowned instantly seeing him. She went to fold her arms across her chest to emphasize how displeased she was that he was here but the pain in her arm made her wince instead.

Shattered:Danica shifted slightly in her bed. She stretched searching for the warmth beside her. Her hand fell on the empty spot. It was still slightly warm from him. She opened her eyes slowly, his bare back was facing her as he was sitting on the edge of the bed. He had slipped on his pants but every muscle in his back was calling for hand to run over it. She smiled softly as she pulled the blanket around her, shifting closer to him. She reached up and slowly ran her hand down his back. He inched into her touch in response. She smiled bigger.“I thought I was going to have to wake you.” His deep voice said to her.“How about you forget I am awake and I’ll go back to sleep; then you can wake me.” She said her tone insinuating something more.

Full Circle: Ariadne’s grabbed the wheel as she watched the horizon.She had steered most of the evening and into the morning. She rolled her head back and forth trying to get the crank in her neck out. She stood on her tippy toes stretching her calves. God she was tired. She felt like everything on her was drooping. She wanted to sink into the floor and curl up. They were making great time and the longer she kept a hold of the wheel, the longer she felt like she was making progress to get to Dani. The longer she held on meant that she was being useful, she was saving someone else time so when they switched they could press on.
