Sierra's POV

Dear diary.

I've been thinking a lot lately. Considering my past with people and how things usually don't go the way I need them to go, considering how unhappy I used to be in a world where all I knew was violence since my parents died, I can honestly say, I am feeling calmer.

When I say calmer, I don't mean everything is perfect—it isn't, and I'm far from calm—but I mean the aura here is smooth. Everyone has their own things they do. Most of them work both outside and inside the pack.

I enjoy watching the world go by but recently my mind has been preoccupied. I wanted to start working but my anxiety hit the roof every time I considered even looking at jobs. I had never had experience and the last thing I truly needed was for someone to ask me something and I freeze or I get touched and I lash out and maybe hit someone or bite them.

According to G****e, those are very frowned upon and would mean I would get fired straight away.

But the idea of staying at home and doing no

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 73: She's giving me a migraine.

Nikolai's POV"What did she say?" I ask my sister as she walks into my office. I had a clear view of the willow tree that Sierr and Maya were sitting under earlier. I could feel her crying, and I had a very shitty talk with myself. More Rex having my balls gripped by every truthful word he said. 'You know, you had a good life growing up,' He had told me, which made me feel even worse than when I was already beating myself up over telling her to stop acting like a child. My sister has never been one to shy away from telling me when I have really screwed up, so her silence right now is sort of nerve-racking. I need to make sure that everything was fine with Sierra when my sister was with her and that she wasn't going to run out and do something crazy."She's just found out her parents, who died, were never truly her parents, Nik...How do you think she's feeling?" She snaps, but then softens her tone before punching me in the arm once more. "Ow, what was that for?" I ask her, rubbing

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 72: I have to see.

Sierra's POV"I'm sorry, baby. I'm so fucking sorry. Nikolai's words drift in through one ear and out through the other. Everything I have ever thought, known and felt toward my parents is all a lie. I was not theirs to take. They took me, and I lived a happy life with them while someone else was fighting to find me. I thought I was lost when they died. I was...lost. I was lonely and in pain. I wasn't able to go to their funeral because I was black and blue with bruises. Did they even have a funeral?I want to believe everything that had happened in my childhood wasn't a lie. It wasn't false and pretend, it wasn't them playing house with a stolen baby, but it was. I always wished for them to come and get me when things got tough, and that this was not something that someone goes through at such a young age, but I did. I want to sit here and cry. I don't want these hurt feelings that have become a big part of me right now. Years. It has been years since they died and left me. I cri

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 71: Not what I thought

Nikolai's POVSitting in the office with Sierra, Maya and my parents, we go through different things but keep each other updated on what's been said. No one has touched the diary entries her mother did. No one dares to be apart from Sierra, but even she's hesitant about it. "You okay, love?"She nods her head as she looks over at the statements from the previous Alpha of the High Claw pack."I don't get this,, she says, standing up and heading my way. I take the laptop that has been connected to her photo album. Every bank statement is increased. Alpha Zade claims he has barely any money in the pack, but his father is showing thousands in the account. "Huh. That's...odd," I say, still skimming the statements as if they were my enemy."What's wrong?" Sierra and my Mom ask together. "Each month, there is a new balance in Matthew's Bank. $10,000," I tell them and flick to the month prior and again, the numbers are the same. For 12 years. "Can you hack into this, do you think, baby?" I

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 70: The truth?

Chapter 70: The Truth Sierra's POVThe motel we have checked into is small and dingy. It's filled with a dampness that makes my insides tighten. 'Who the hell would pay for something like this?' Mina asks me once I've put my bags down and taken off my clothes, which I have been suffocating all day. 'Us. Obviously, I say, pointing out that we have indeed bought a night for this place. 'Yeah, but I would rather you shift and we sleep outside than be in here. Plus, if we shift, I can take charge, and I can pounce on my man, she laughs, and so do I. I can't help myself."And what are you finding so funny?" Nikolai asks as he stands behind me and helps me to remove the added pieces to my disguise. I thought I would have bumped into someone there. I was nervous and worried that they would see straight through me. "Ahh...nothing?" I say, but it comes out as more of a question than it does a statement. "Liar. You and our wolf are up to something," he says, kissing my neck and dusting hi

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 69: Guilt

Sierra's POVThe plan was supposed to be easy. Get in, sneak around, gather some evidence and get back out again, but my heart aches right now. I've managed to get through the first foyer of the building. Everyone seems to be at work, so I know I won't bump into anyone, and if they do see me, they won't see the me they probably forgot about the moment I left. The moment they thought I was going to be a slave to another pack. Marta probably loved it. She probably relished in how she got rid of me for good, but I'm not gone. Not entirely. I'm forever chained to this place and forever held captive in my mind until I purge it all out.Just purge it all out.‘Why is it that we come here and I shrivel up on the inside?’ Mina asks when I shiver at the coldness that leaks through the air. It's a cold place.‘Because I'm also shrivelling up on the inside. The cold aura around here has made my nipples too soft.’ I say, which makes her laugh. She's always had a twinkle in her eye, but even now,

  • The Omega Agreement   Chapter 68: Something fishy

Nikolai's POV"So what is the problem that you couldn't do anything yourself or couldn't ask a surrounding pack?" I ask in annoyance. I cannot stand this wanker. I certainly can't stand his brother, who is, - Thankfully- not here.I don't think I would have been able to hold myself back and not kill the bastard if he were here. When Jade died, I thought it was an accident. Until I found her phone and saw several (obviously) drunk messages and missed calls from Nolan fucking Matthews, Gamma of the High-Claw pack, telling her he didn't mean to hit her that hard and that he was sorry and hoped she recovered like the last time! One of our closest friends died because he hit her so hard she died from it, and I bet his sorry ass never knew that she didn't live. I will never forget his voice. The slur of his words and the laughter in the background. I will never forget the moment I entered her room with Rem, when I knew she was not sleeping.Whatever I had eaten the day before came up as I
