Gabbie POV

Kade caressed my middle with his fingertips. His face pressed against my cheek, and my body curled up against his. No one bothered us last night. I was still in the lion’s den, but I didn’t plan on being a prisoner in the Alpha castle. If Alex hadn’t come to his senses, I wouldn’t be able to stay here. Would I be safe back home? Alex had more power there.

Kade tightened his hold on me and exhaled.

“I love this,” he murmured.

“So, do I.”

“I want to keep you here forever,” Kade whispered in my ear.

I rolled over and smiled at him. “We have to leave, eventually.”

He chuckled. “Is this you telling me you’re hungry?”

I begged my stomach not to growl.

“No…”

He kissed my forehead. “I’ll take care of it.”

“Are you going to take me back to the omega quarters?”

Kade rolled out of bed. Butterflies formed in my stomach as his back muscles relaxed. His big and solid muscles were a result of hours in the gym.

“No, I’m not.”

“What?”

“I’m going to take you to the shower first.”

He stood an

  • The Omega Best Friend    The Alpha's Men

Gabbie POVAlex got down on one knee. He was given a wooden bowl to drink from. The lady speaker said it was a liquid from the earth, blessed by the moon goddess and the Pack elders. It was supposed to give the High Alphas more power. The three Alphas were going to get even more powerful than they already were. After Alex drank, he threw his head back, his arms stretched, and he roared viciously.I flinched and shifted closer to Leiah. After a couple of seconds, he fell forward and panted heavily.“Alpha Kade, take your place,” the woman said.My heart pounded in my ribcage. He caught my gaze before he knelt to drink the concoction. He winked at me and smirked for a second. He emptied the bowl, too. His body tensed, and he growled lowly. The veins in his neck turned jet black.“Is that supposed to happen?” I whispered to Leiah.“I have no idea,” she replied. Not long after his veins returned to normal and Kade panted.“Alpha Tristan, take your place,” the woman said.Kade stood beside

  • The Omega Best Friend    Important Men

I stared at Leiah, and she maintained the smile. He must be really important if Leiah’s maintaining her award-winning beam.“Uh, sure.”I placed my hand in the gentleman’s hand, and he tugged me towards the dance floor. Some faces in the room widened in shock.I rolled my eyes. Some people could be so dramatic. His palm pressed into my back, pinning me to his chest.“Such a beautiful woman shouldn’t be left alone, especially among such animals,” he said.I scanned the faces watching us with keen interest.“I’m not alone, and I’m not scared of anyone here,” I said.He smirked and whispered in my ear. “I know you’re capable of taking care of yourself, Gabriella.”My attempts to pull back were blocked by his hand on my back and arm. I didn’t like where this was going.“I’m sorry, we haven’t been introduced. You know my name, but I don’t know yours.”“I’m the Alpha General. I don’t like these things, but when I learned you would be here, I couldn’t miss it.”“Me?”He knows I’m just an ome

  • The Omega Best Friend    Invited Guests

Gabbie POV“I was so worried you guys wouldn’t come. Leiah got here early, but that was only because she wanted first dibs on the gowns here,” Emery rambled.I felt like each second carried by time went in slow motion. The hallway was crowded with people. Their footsteps echoed, and their breathing beat down on me.“The dresses are gorgeous, but so expensive. Good thing, Gareth told me I could get whatever I wanted on his bill! Can you believe it?” Emery went on.I tried not to look at the men and women who passed directly, but it was hard. I could hear their whispers before they even walked past us.“Omega.”“Who let the trash into the castle?”“They’re too comfortable. I thought only elites were invited to the ball?”“Some Alphas couldn’t live without their bedmates.”The comments were like blows to my face. Couldn’t they wait until we were out of earshot? We were omegas, but we still had great hearing.“Gabbie? Are you even listening?” Emery asked as we turned into the dress shop.

  • The Omega Best Friend    The Alpha's Isle

My mate and I had a thing for cottages, so it wasn’t a surprise that our next home was nestled in the woods.“Hey, are you done packing?” Kade asked.I looked up from the toiletries basket in the bathroom. I smiled. He leaned on the doorframe and panted. His chest rose and fell at a steady pace. He’d returned from his first run since the accident. It had been a long couple of days. He was grumpy, worried and impatient, but yesterday he went for a human run and today he went for a wolf run.“I packed for both of us,” I said.“What? I packed last night,” he replied.I placed a hand on my hip. “Kade, you packed one shirt, no shoes and two shorts.”“We won’t be there that long, Princess.”“Things happen where you need a change of clothes! Like, spontaneously shifting.”Kade hooked an arm around my waist and dragged me forward to his chest.“I don’t plan on spontaneously shifting. Come here, you’re so fucking sexy.” He buried his face in my neck. “I don’t tell you that enough.”I shut my e

  • The Omega Best Friend    Pain

The doctor confirmed Kade had broken his leg. The problem was we weren’t at a shifter hospital, and they were bound to notice when Kade’s burns and cuts started healing at a rate faster than the human rate. They wanted to keep him in overnight, but that couldn’t happen.Since Kade was an Alpha, he would fully recover from the broken leg with minimal pain, but it would still need time to heal. If I had broken my leg, it would have taken a month to heal, and it would have hurt like hell.“Is it true? Someone tried to kill Kade?” Leiah blasted as soon as she got off the elevator.“Volume, Leiah,” Gareth hushed. He grabbed her shoulder and led her towards the waiting area. It was a quiet day, but the nurses were wandering around, and the last thing we needed was for the human police to get involved.“How did you hear?” I asked. The only ones who were at the house were Tristan, Gareth and Emery.Leiah blinked a few times. “Holden told me.”“Holden?” He was still Kade’s right-hand man, but

  • The Omega Best Friend    Blazes

The front door was bolted shut.“Damn it!”I ran around back. The scent of burning wood was suffocating. I found the back door boarded up. It took a whole team to do this.I yanked on the planks of wood and ripped them off the door.Thank goodness for my wolf! The fire spread, and parts of the house fell.“Kade!”Please be okay.Everything crumbled around me, but all I could think of was him. My furniture went up in flames, and my kitchen was consumed. He wasn’t here. I ran upstairs.“Kade!”The stairs would give out at any moment.“Gabbie! No, get out of here.”I breathed a sigh of relief. I was in the bedroom and I could hear him, but I couldn’t see him. I noticed the bathroom door had been bolted shut, too. Our bedroom was filled with smoke, but the fire hadn’t destroyed our room yet.“Hold on, I’ll get you out.”“No, I’m injured. Just get out! The house is going to collapse.”“Are you crazy? I’m not leaving you.”“Hurry up, Gabbie, the room’s filling up with smoke,” Poppy said thr
