•JASON•

“I think we should get a healer.” I said louder than I intended, but I didn’t take them back. Because I could feel it, every passing second slipping his breath was getting weaker.

If this kept going, he would be dead in minutes. And the worst part? I couldn’t even feel his wolf, no trace of him ever having a wolf. That alone made something in my chest tighten in a way I didn’t like.

“Are you mad?” Nelson snapped beside me, his voice low but filled with irritation as his hands pressed harder against the stranger’s chest, trying to stop the blood that refused to listen.

Our mate. The word still didn’t sit right in my head. Didn’t settle neither does it make sense. And yet everything in me was reacting like it was the only truth that mattered.

“It’s not about madness, Nelson,” I said, my jaw tightening as I pushed more of my energy into the man lying between us. “If this continues, he dies.”

It was a fact my twin can’t even dispute. Nelson didn’t respond immediately. He was focused.

His eyes glowed faintly, that deep blue that only appeared when his wolf was close to the surface. His hands hovered just above the stranger’s body now, energy flowing steadily from him, slow but controlled.

The bleeding started slowing. Not stopping. But slowing.

“Dude,” Nelson muttered under his breath, his tone shifting from irritation to something heavier. “The fact that our mate is a man already means he’s an omega.”

I didn’t need him to say it. I knew. My body knew before my mind caught up. That pull. That connection.

That sharp, undeniable awareness the moment we saw him crushed inside that wreck.

It wasn’t normal. It wasn’t something you question. It just was.

“And letting someone else see him?” Nelson continued, his voice tightening. “That’s basically delivering him straight to death.”

I clenched my jaw. Because he wasn’t wrong. Male omegas don’t survive. They don’t get hidden. They don’t get protected. They get erased the moment their first cry was heard without question. And now…

Now one was lying right in front of us.

Bleeding.

Barely breathing.

Bonded to us.

I exhaled slowly, dragging a hand through my hair before pushing more of my energy forward, letting it flow into him, trying to stabilize whatever I could.

“Then we make sure no one sees him,” I said firmly.

Nelson let out a dry laugh.

“Yeah? And how exactly do you plan to do that when we just pulled him out of a bus crash?”

I didn’t answer immediately. Because for the first time in my 200 years of existing I didn’t have a plan.

My eyes dropped to him again, to our mate. His face was pale, too pale, like whatever life was left in him was slipping out faster than we could hold it in place. His body was too still.

And that bothered me more than anything. Because even unconscious, a wolf should be there.

A presence, something at least. But him? Nothing. Like he was… empty. Or hiding.

“What are you?” I muttered under my breath. Nelson didn’t hear me. Or maybe he did and chose not to respond.

His energy finally pushed deeper, stronger this time, and I felt the shift immediately.

The bleeding stopped a little more and that was enough to keep him alive until we find a better solution to save him.

Nelson let out a slow breath, his shoulders dropping slightly as the glow in his eyes dimmed.

“Got it under control,” he said, though his voice still held tension. I nodded once, but I didn’t relax.

Because something about this still didn’t feel right.

“Never in my life…” Nelson started, leaning back slightly as he wiped his hand across his face. “Never in my wildest dream did I think we would meet our mate like this.”

I huffed out a quiet breath.

“After centuries,” he added, glancing at me. “Centuries of nothing.”

That part hit. Because it was true. We were not supposed to have this. We are the cursed alpha twin destined to never have a mate but this… this was unexpected.

That was the truth we had lived with for longer than most people even stay alive.

No mate.

No bond.

Just power. And an empty space where something important should have been.

And somehow…

Somehow…

That curse broke today. In the middle of a crash. In the middle of chaos.

With a man who shouldn’t even exist.

“And the worst part?” Nelson added, his tone turning dry again. “He’s a male omega.”

I let out a low breath, shaking my head slightly.

“The moon goddess really has a twisted sense of humor.”

This felt like a joke. A dangerous cruel one. The kind that doesn’t end well. My eyes stayed on him. On the way his chest rose slowly.

“We can’t leave him here,” I said after a moment, my voice calmer now but no less firm.

Nelson looked at me like I had just said something obvious.

“Obviously,” he replied. “But taking him back is not exactly a quiet move either.”

He had a point. Bringing him into our territory Into our space…

Into a place filled with wolves who would smell exactly what he is the moment they got close enough…

That was not safe.

For him.

For us.

For anyone.

But leaving him? Not an option. Not anymore.

I leaned closer slightly, my hand hovering just above his arm before finally resting lightly against it.

Warm.

Fever already building.

Great.

“Then we hide him,” I said simply.

Nelson raised an eyebrow.

“Hide him?” he repeated. “You mean keep a male omega hidden in a territory full of wolves who would kill him just for breathing?”

I looked at him.

Straight.

Unmoved.

“Yes.”

Then Nelson laughed. Not because it was funny, because it was insane.

“Yeah,” he said slowly, shaking his head. “This is going to go very well.”

I ignored that.

Because the decision was already made. There was no turning back from this.

  • The Omega Hidden in the Alpha Twins Bed   Chapter 67: Why?

•Jason•The fact that Caleb wolf is now back is kind of relieving to know, it just a matter of time before we find out what really happened when he was gone. That was what I kept telling myself as I walked beside Nelson toward the dining hall. The corridors were clean, the air smelled like polished stone and fresh bread drifting in from the kitchens below, and servants moved out of our path with the kind of discipline that normally meant everything was in order. But nothing felt in order. Not after last night. Not after Caleb’s nightmare. Not after Stormy’s silence that still sat in the back of my mind like a locked door we were not allowed to open.Nelson walked slightly ahead of me, his shoulders tense in a way only I could recognize. To everyone else, he probably looked calm. Controlled. Their Alpha King. But I knew him too well. His wolf inside him had been restless since dawn, like it was waiting for something to break through the walls.“You feel it too,” I said quietly through

    • CALEB •By the time I finished my shower, I felt almost human again. The conversation with Stormy still sat heavily in my head. Every answer he gave somehow created five new questions. Stay with our mates. Don’t wander off. Don’t separate from them.None of that sounded comforting. It sounded like a warning.I dried my hair with a towel and wrapped another around my waist before stepping out of the bathroom. And immediately froze. Jason and Nelson had just entered the room. Both of them looked like they had spent the entire morning training.Sweat darkened their shirts. Their hair was slightly messy. Their arms were covered in dust from the training grounds.Honestly? They looked unfairly attractive. I hated that for me. Jason’s eyes immediately landed on me.Then slowly traveled from my damp hair down to the towel around my waist.“Oh no,” I said immediately.Nelson raised an eyebrow.“What?”“I know that look.”“What look?”“The look that means both of you are about to become anno

At least not entirely. My body had recovered from things that should have killed me several times already, which was honestly becoming a little disturbing if I thought about it too hard. • The Omega Hidden in the Alpha Twins Bed   Chapter 64: Training

    • NELSON •Morning came too quietly for a kingdom that was supposed to be on the edge of something dangerous. That was the first thing I thought of when I stepped onto the training grounds. The air was cold against my skin, sharp enough to keep me alert even without Rain pushing inside me. Warriors were already in formation when I arrived. Swords drawn. Bodies moving. Sweat hitting the ground in steady rhythm. They were good. Better than good. But I wanted better than that.I wanted survival level, not practice or routine. I want survival.“Again,” I called out.The entire line reset instantly. No complaints. They could feel it too. The pressure in the air. The shift. The way their Alpha Kings weren’t here for discipline today but preparation.Jason was already at the far end of the training field, watching silently with his arms crossed. Caleb was not with him. That alone told me Jason had made sure he was still asleep or at least not dragged into this yet.Smart.I walked further in

    • CALEB •Sleep didn’t come like peace. It came like a trap snapping shut. One moment I was still in the room, still holding onto the echo of Jason’s face after reading that message, still feeling Nelson’s silence pressing heavy in the air beside me. Then everything broke apart.I gasped, but no sound came out.Wind tore past me, violent and endless, like the sky itself had opened and decided I no longer deserved ground, then I landed had, my knees hit dirt first. Warm dirt.I lifted my head slowly, already knowing something was wrong before I even saw anything clearly.Smoke. Thick and heavy. It rolled across everything like the world was burning from the inside out. I stood up too fast, my breath catching as I tried to orient myself.A pack. Not the palace. Somewhere else. Somewhere familiar in a way that made my chest tighten painfully.Houses, Wooden structures, Broken fences. Firelight dancing across everything like the night had turned into something alive and hungry. And then I
