I get up and put my hands on my hips as I start walking it off, getting closer to the playground so Ash doesn’t feel like I’m abandoning him here. “Goddamnit,” I growl under my breath, fighting the urge to just yell and release whatever this feeling is. Ashton basically jumps out of my car as soon as we arrive to the park like he can’t wait another second.
