Lara's pov

It was a close one with her. She was always trying to make things good, but Tia was becoming too suspicious, and she has to give her way.

After Jayven saved her, she was dismissed, but was still really angry. She needed to see her lover to make sure more threats were issued out. That would definitely keep her busy, and make sure she wasn't all over the place.

“Did you see that, you were almost caught off guard. What would you have said?”

“Nothing…” I explained to my wolf who I felt was being overly worried. I was trying to not be too worried about the whole thing, but then things were going out of hand, and I couldn't control them.
