Eloise's POV

I stand staring at the two of them, waiting for a reply. Despite knowing it will only make me feel belittled and will hurt me more, I still want to hear whatever they are going to say.

“Stop being too full of yourself.” Hannah laughed so hard that it rang in my ears. “That child of yours is not innocent. That is a fruit of cheating.” She whispered.

What is she talking about? I never went to bed with anyone!

“I am the one who is… cheating?” I suddenly questioned the things I was doing.

“Haven’t you followed yet? Had you not seduced the alpha, you wouldn’t have been driven out of my mansion, you could have remained as my maid. And to be precise, you shouldn’t be carrying a child that would soon be considered as a fruit of treason,” she said.

“But I cannot blame you. Keep it for all you want, I do not care,” she claimed.

I turned my gaze at Cedrick who was lost in thoughts and then looked at me like I was nothing.

I am being blamed… again? And my child, who for loving affection of the goddess, has nothing to do with this, is being forced to be taken out of my womb?

I wiped my tears. “So it is clear now? It isn’t just me who is being rejected but my child as well?” I asked.

“I will never be able to swallow the fact that I have a child in an omega, the most disgusting person I have ever encountered. The press? They will all be mad at me. My family will kill you once they find out,” he said.

“Why do you care if they kill me?” I smiled through all the painful words he had thrown at me. “It’s not like you’ll not be delighted seeing me get killed.” I laughed.

She grabbed my hands relentlessly, not caring whether it would hurt me or not. “Cedrick cannot afford such disgrace, you idiot,” she spitefully whispered while tightening her grip on my arms.

“Let go of her.” A cold voice lingered on the sides of the room. I stared behind me only to see the man who had saved me the night I was thrown away from the beta’s mansion.

A glimmer of hope lighted my eyes as I realized he might be the answer to my needs. He… might help me keep this child within me.

“Tyrone? Long time no see.” The Alpha‘s face suddenly brightened as it was filled with sarcastic anticipation.

Do they know one another? Why do I feel like there is a deep connection between them and I need to know more?

“I did not expect to see you here at all,” Cedrick said as he grabbed Hannah’s hand that was hurting me and intertwined it with his. I looked away with an emotional pang on my chest.

Cold blood rushed back into my limbs as I felt the hands of the stranger sliding into my waistline. I gulped hard as I kept it close to me.

“I am just here to assist her in her pregnancy,” Tyrone said, referring to me. I could see how Hannah’s face instantly became bitter as she thought of reasons why this man was beside me.

“Get the fuck out of my matters, Tyrone.  She’s not your concern,” the alpha said as he conversed with the man.

Why do I feel like there is a personal rivalry between the two of them? The way Hannah turned pale when she saw him and the way everything became tense as soon as he arrived explains something like there is a huge boundary between the two of them.

“Matter? Not when I am taking her here so I can take care of my unborn child,” Tyrone said, putting a huge emphasis on the word child so Cedrick would back down.

“The fuck are you talking about?” Cedrick exclaimed as he laughed hysterically. “You? Of all people? Would you choose this woman as your wife? I did not know that the strongest beta of Blood Moon pack could be so naïve.” His mocking tone of voice was ringing in both sides of my ears.

Strongest beta… could it be that my savior is no other than… the number one rival of Cedrick in terms of power?!

“And what about it? Have I questioned your relationship with the late weak beta?” Tyrone mocked Hannah’s family.

He held me tight and had me face my back. “We are leaving.” He formally bid his goodbye.

“I know that baby is mine. We spent our time together, I knew for sure that it was the product of our lustful desire,” Cedrick claimed which made my mind shiver.

“Bold of you to assume it’s yours. Did you happen to fuck your girlfriend while thinking of my woman?” Tyrone stated.

Cedrick's face soured as he heard Tyrone's words. He turned to look at me, probably thinking I would defend him as well.

I can see how he is waiting for me to speak up and say that the baby is his.

Tyrone did not wait for the argument that the alpha might throw again and instead held me tight as we made our way out of the room.

He stopped walking and turned around again with a huge mocking smile on his lips. “Ohh, Hannah, right?” He laughed.

“Stay away from Eloise if you want to keep those hands of yours.” He threatened. “Focus on your man first, who knows which girl he's fucking in his mind right now.”

I grabbed his hands and whispered, “Let's go.” As I saw Hannah's expression turned to anger.

He laughed as we made our way out. “Alright, Hon.”

On our way to the empty hallways, he moved close to me. “Keep that baby,” he mumbled.

Confusion filled my mind as I thought of questions to ask him. “Why?” That is all I ever mouthed.

“I need an heir. The flesh and blood of an alpha lingers inside you. That baby? It will surely be my fortune,” he whispered in my ears.

Am I picking up the right thing? Is he just going to use the child inside me?

What is Tyrone planning to do?

  • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 124: The Lost Heiress

Eloise' POVThe world around me seemed to blur as Servano's words echoed in my mind."She kept you hidden for a reason. Our pack fell years ago, during the birth of Alpha Matt Lockhart’s second child. It wasn’t an accident, Eloise. It was an attack. A massacre. And your mother... she fled with you before they could find you."I tried to swallow the lump forming in my throat, but my body refused to obey. My hands trembled at my sides, my breathing unsteady. I felt unmoored, like a ship severed from its anchor, drifting into unknown waters."You’re saying—" I started, my voice barely above a whisper. "You’re saying my mother wasn’t just a maid? That she was part of a pack? And that I... I’m part of it too?"Servano’s gaze didn’t waver. "You are the last blood heir of the Dawning Red Pack."Silence stretched between us, thick and suffocating. I could hear the distant chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves in the wind, but everything felt muted, drowned out by the storm raging inside m

  • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 123: One Year Later

Eloise’ POVThe scent of freshly tilled soil and ripe vegetation filled the air as I carried a basket of tomatoes toward the wooden stall I had set up near my cottage. The rolling hills stretched endlessly behind me, a world away from the chaos of the past.Life in the countryside was peaceful. The simplicity of it, the routine of planting, harvesting, and selling my produce to the capital—it had become my sanctuary.I had learned to live without a title, without a pack, without the ghosts of my past clawing at my throat. The woman who had once been the beta’s wife, the woman who had been betrayed and broken, no longer existed. In her place stood a farmer, a mother, a woman who no longer sought validation from anyone but herself. As I arranged the baskets of fresh greens and root vegetables, a familiar presence made my hands freeze mid-motion."I never thought I'd see you again."That voice. Deep, laced with something unreadable. I turned slowly, my heart steady but my mind bracing it

  • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 122: Her Decision

Eloise’ POVThe first thing I felt when I woke up was pain. A dull ache ran through my limbs, a reminder of the night before—of the way Cedrick had touched me, claimed me, ignited something primal and untamed inside me. My wolf was satisfied, purring in contentment, but my human heart twisted with guilt.I lay there for a moment, listening to the soft rise and fall of Cedrick’s breathing beside me. He was still asleep, his strong arm draped lazily across my waist as if he was afraid I would disappear. And he was right to be afraid. I had made my decision. What had we done?We had become the very thing that broke us. Our ex-wife and ex-husband had betrayed us, and in turn, we had sought solace in each other’s arms, crossing the same unforgivable line. Was it desire? Was it revenge? Or was it something far more dangerous—something real?I couldn’t allow myself to think that way.Carefully, I moved his arm off me and sat up, biting my lip as the soreness flared through me. I turned to lo

  • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 121: Crawling Back To You

Cedrick’s POVI remember the way she looked at me that night—as if she was both lost and found at the same time. I wanted to let her know that she can finally live in peace… but I cannot help myself but be drawn to her over and over again, like the old good times. She stepped into my mansion, poised yet uncertain, and when she reached the dining room, her eyes widened at the sight before her. • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 120: The Dinner

Eloise’ POVThe carriage ride had been silent, save for the quiet rustling of my thoughts. I told myself I had accepted this dinner invitation out of politeness, out of gratitude for his kindness. But deep down, I knew there was more to it.As I stepped through the grand doors, I was met with the scent of something unexpected. Flowers. A delicate, intoxicating aroma filled the air, wrapping around me like a whispered promise. The dining hall was bathed in a golden glow, flickering candlelight reflecting off the crystal chandeliers. And there, at the center of it all, was the table—adorned with a sea of roses, lilies, and peonies. A display so romantic it felt as though the universe itself had conspired to set this scene. My breath hitched. My heart twisted. This was not just a dinner. It was a moment carved in time, something carefully prepared, something meant for me to remember.Cedrick stood by the head of the table, watching me with an expression I could not decipher. • The Omegas Cry   Chapter 119: The Walls Had Crumbled

Eloise’ POVI stood in the dimly lit bedroom, the last remnants of my past life staring back at me. The bed where I once dreamed of love, the curtains that danced with the wind as I waited for a man who never truly belonged to me—every piece of furniture seemed to whisper of the years I had wasted in this house. The air smelled of old promises, of the lies I had swallowed whole, of the betrayal that clung to every fiber of this place. But no more. With steady hands, I packed the last of my things, folding them with the precision of someone who was leaving behind not just a house but an entire identity.I was no longer Tyrone’s wife. I was no longer the woman who tolerated his half-hearted devotion, his fleeting glances that never truly saw me. I was no longer owned by anyone. The finality of it all sent a strange shiver down my spine. I had made my decision—I was going to live alone, unshackled, untethered. No one would ever claim me again. With my bags in hand, I am set to make my wa
