Avery POV

Matteo has been out of bed since three in the morning. I don’t know what is bothering him so much but I am getting worried. I walk out of the bedroom looking for him, he is sitting in front of his grand piano in the middle of the living room. His fingers touch the keys slowly playing the most beautiful song I have ever heard in my life. I cross my arms as I rest my shoulder against the door frame.

“Take a picture, it will last longer”, I hear Matteo’s low voice. I smile and I walk towards him. Matteo stops playing and taps the seat next to him, I sit and he keeps playing. “Couldn’t sleep?”, he asks and I nod my head.

“Been worried about you”, I say and he takes a deep breath. Matteo stops playing and turns half way towards me. Matteo grabs both my hands that were resting on my knees.
