Chapter Fifty Four

Having no idea where she was going, Rita followed her.

She went straight to the guest room closest to the living room.

Rita continued to follow her. She got in and met her elder sister standing, facing the wall and crying her eyes out.

"What's wrong, Sis?" She said, totally confused as she approached Lilian.

Lilian said nothing but continued to cry.

"Please talk to me, Sis," Rita said with a shaky voice.

"Please if this is about Nadia, then I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry I invited her over. I just got tired of it all so I invited her. I thought it would be a good thing if you all reconciled."

"No, that's not it."

"Then what is it, Sis? You are scaring me." Rita said, genuinely getting scared. The last time she saw her elder sister this pained and all over the place in tears was when their parents passed away.

If there was anyone Rita knew to be a strong woman then it was Lilian. Seeing her this way, she honestly had no idea what to do or where to start comforting her.
