"Oh, Nancy, come look at this!" Lilian said with a very big smile.

She stopped what she was doing in the living room and went to answer her Boss.

"Isn't this sweet? Connor proposed to her with his Grandmother's ring. I never knew my Son could be this sweet. I'm so proud of him."

Nancy felt a sharp pain in her heart the moment she set her eyes on the phone. It was a picture of Diane's hand, showing off the priceless ring.

Nancy had no idea why she was feeling bad about the whole thing when she told him earlier that she had forgiven him.
