Chapter 90

By Saturday morning, I’m ready for this event to be done and go back to our little cabin on the mountain. I want my kitchen, and my comfy couch where I fall asleep on Aidinth’s lap every time. I’m not really upset with anyone; I just miss my little piece of heaven on Earth.

I get out of bed, take my shower, get dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white button up shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. This is about as business casual as I can get, and I’m determined to be comfortable today. I walk down to the dining room, and immediately pour myself a cup of better attitude. I take a drink of it and the aroma alone is enough to improve my mood. I walk to King Mateo’s table and have a seat, just savoring my coffee. King Mateo is laughing at me, but I’m honestly not paying attention. I’m trying hard to be in a better mood.
