"I couldn't have guessed you had such a cruel past." I sparked up a conversation between Mason and me a few days after he revealed what happened. During the days we spent apart, he, Draven, and his closest and most trusted warriors were plotting an attack based on the map of Nathan's pack. The secret meetings went on until late at night, and most of the time I had to stay with the Draven's parents, bonding with them.

"I couldn't let it show; I had a plan to follow." He said it nonchalantly as he circled a spot on the map with black ink. We were currently in his shared room in the pack house with Davis.

"Anyway, that's not why I came." I changed the topic just as soon as I started it.

"Where have you reached concerning Mercy?" I asked, placing my elbows on my knees as I made myself comfortable on his queen-sized bed.

"And, btw, why are you still living here? You deserve your own quarters, or a cabin. Didn't Draven offer you a suitable place for your rank?" I added, watchin
