Havermouth, Five Years Before

Heath headed towards Aislen’s house on instinct. She was the closest of his mates, and he was upset, so it was natural to seek comfort from a mate. He found her bedroom window open and shifted briefly in order to stand with his toes on the garden edge and lift himself up on the sill to look within. The bed was empty.

He had a good idea where Aislen would go, he thought as he shifted back to wolf. Sure enough, he picked up her scent and traced it towards the graveyard. He was relieved to see the fragile glow of torch light filtered through the wrought iron filigree that sided the pergola and to find her sitting at the table.

She was taking back her spot, he decided watching her from the shadows, reclaiming it from Charlotte. Well, he could help with that. He shifted and padded naked over to where she sat, oblivious to him. "What are you doing?" He teased her, and watched her jump, almost dropping her torch.

I so want Charlie & Philip to be taken out by Aislen, protecting her mates!! Please make it painful tenfold. Perhaps, Aislen can make them do something with her mind powers, like do to themselves what they inflicted on their sons. I'm now thinking about how great their suffering will be ;)
