Chapter Sixty One
I run through the hospital in a white, transparent maxi dress, making my way for the room I know Corby once stayed. There are some nurses outside the room, Grace is there, her eyes dull if tears and red. This is real. It's actually real! My body is trembling as she points into the room.
"We're about taking him out now miss" one of the nurses said.
"Please...let my just see him. Please" I beg, my hands rubbing together and she nodded. I walk into the room, my heart in my hands. I'm glad Fabrico is behind me. Leon has Kay in his arms as she cried.
There he is, laying on the bed, a shit clothe just to his neck and ready to close his head. I place my hand above my heart, feeling my fountain break and I'm in a sobbing mess. He's gone!
