Chapter 29

Third-person POV

When she woke up, she found herself already shifted and back at the cabin with tons of blankets and clothes on. She also noticed that the fireplace was lit and that she had been sleeping on the couch with her head on Trey’s lap. She knew that he was awake when he began caressing her behind her eyes, but she stayed like that and pretended that she was still sleeping. Mostly because she didn’t want to move and was more than happy to stay that way forever.

But she then sneezed, and he stopped.

“Well, I guess I’m busted,” She said.

When she sat up, he pulled her into a tight embrace.

“Goddess, I’m so glad you’re ok.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Long story short, I woke up to find you had shifted. When I brought you, the time told me that we were out for about an hour. But geez, you should’ve told me that you shift back in your sleep so I wouldn’t have let us sleep outside.”
