“Can I take this seat, Ms. Dianthe?” the invader to her planned solitude asked, although he already sat beside her.

For a moment, Dianthe just looked at him with an unfathomable expression. “You sat already, can I still refuse you to sit down?” she asked with coldness.

“No, you cannot. I was the one who spent thousands of money to have this specific break time place to be built for my staff. So, I practically own this.”

“Then, you should have not asked me,” Dianthe replied with sarcasm while mentally rolling her eyes.

“What are you doing here, by the way?” he asked again.

“I just wanted a quiet place, an alone time.”

“Oh, you are not alone now, but I can be quiet if you wanted to,” he said smiling but Dianthe gave him a sullen look.

“Atty. Garette, will you just please get inside your office and leave me alone here? I will return in a few moments,” she retorted with a hint of irritation.
