CHAPTER 24 - Instant Fiancee

The woman smiled widely at Atty. Garette, as if only he was present inside the restaurant.

“Atty. Garette, oh, hello. Such a coincidence to see you here. How long have you been back in the city?” she asked with a flirtatious smile as she hooked her hand to his right arm.

Atty. Garette side glanced at Dianthe and looked at the woman holding his right arm with his cold eyes. He simply removed her hand from his arm and then looked at Dianthe again which caught the attention of the woman. She looked at Dianthe from head to foot and then lifted her right eyebrow.

Clearing his throat, Atty. Garette took hold of Dianthe’s right hand and showed it and forcefully smiled at the woman.

“Brenda, this is Dianthe, my fiancee,” he said which could almost make Dianthe faint in shock. “Fiancee?!” this word echoed in Dianthe’s mind.

Brenda with knitted eyebrows glared at Dianthe and then exclaimed with exaggeration.
