Do I Make You Feel Good?

The talk with Monica seemed like an eternity for Cole and Joan, both were eager to get it over and done with. 

The entire time, Joan's face was burning. She could not even look Cole in the eye. 

Following their discussion with Cole's manager, Joan diverted her attention to her bag. She noticed her mobile had been vibrating since earlier. 

She checked her device and saw she had missed calls from Christopher, her Aunt Edith, and even her mother. She frowned, thinking what on earth could they want now. 

'Not now, though. I still want to talk to Cole,' she said in silence. She put back her phone inside her bag. 

"Okay and that wraps it up! You can go home and go back to whatever it was you were doing earlier," teased Monica. "It's about time, you know."

Joan clearly saw the smirk on Monica's face as she turned to leave them behind. She also saw how Cole's adam's apple moved repeatedly, seemingly gulping down his own spew
