Cassie's point of view

"Take this medicine, mom."

I handed her the capsule and help her drink the water, before putting it down. I couldn't help feel sad for my mother because of her condition, we didn't get a chance coming to Andrea's engagement Party.

She's blaming herself why we didn't make it that night because she's too weak, and can't stand on her own since her legs is still weak.

I can feel her sadness and as adopted child, making my adoptive parents happy was my goal. However, they wanted something that hard to achieve and that is letting Andy know about her real identity.

"What's the matter?" My mom asked, which made me back to reality.

I smiled, "Nothing. Take a rest, mom."

"I know your upset because your dad cannot give you the love you deserve," She started opening a conversation with me.

I remained silent and didn't intend of saying anything because it's not even necessary.

She held my hand and uttered, "Remember the time we adopt you?"

I nodded, "Yeah."
