Chapter:12:Odd Jobs:

Chase was anxious when he got to their bedroom and couldn't find Ivy– He wasn't anxious because he cares about her but because he was worried that grandma Willard would scold him for her mistakes.

Chase took out his phone and dialed Ivy's number.

He could probably tolerate her if she got on his nerves and only cause trouble for him but he won't spare her if she angered his grandmother.

When the time comes even if he had to turn the entire city upside to have her punished for the mistakes she made then he won't hesitate to do so.

However, the phone only rang once and Ivy picked up the call immediately.

Her tone was slightly hysterical.“Chase, I haven't been to the place you said yet. I still have work to do. I need a little more time and I'll be back soon”

“Where are you?” Chase asked, suppressing the anger in his chest.

Ivy could finish words, she was
