Adele and Brie

The next day while I am out running a few errands for Mr Cross, mostly to pick up the new banner for the front of the building and getting his new favourite drink. I run into none other than Adele and Brie.

They both are dressed in work clothes, no doubt coming from an interview. But from the looks on their faces, I can only say that they aren't successful.

Too bad. Maybe if they didn't run their mouths so much, they wouldn't be in this position now.

I stare at Adele, taking in her defeated look. I would have felt sorry for her, but she cause this on herself.

"A dragon fruit madness and a peach iced tea, please." I tell the server.

"Will that be all?" She asks.

"Yes."

"A name for the order, please?"

"Angela S."

I glance back at where Adele and Brie are standing in line when I shift over to the pickup side. Brie spots me first as our eyes meet. She frowns at me; she bumps Adele with her elbow, then points me out.

I roll my eyes at them when Adele looks up.
