Decision & Ceremony

Since I left Alpha Marks’ office, I came to a decision to accept my mate’s rejection. I know it’s stupid of me to wait this long. Part of me want him to realize that I’m the right girl for him and he leave that girl who stole him from me. I’ve known Arthur since birth. We are so close together. All I dream when I turn to eighteen and shift to my wolf that he is the one made for me. That he is my real mate. Those dreams come true but just like a dream when I woke up the next day, it all gone. Arthur choses the power over love. He chose to become the new Alpha of Full Moon pack and reject his true mate and his best friend.

I walk through the open window of my room. I’ve been wanting to do this. I want to move forward and let go.

“I Wendy, former member of Full Moon pack, accepted Arthur rejection. May you live in happiness Arthur. I’m letting you go.” I said.

My wolf howls inside of me. Her half of soul has been taken away. I feel tired so I lay on my bed.

This will be the new beginning of Wendy two point zero.

I’m still tired and sleepy when I feel someone shaking me harshly.

“Wendy wake-up! We are going to be late to our joining ceremony.” Allie says repeatedly.

I open my eyes immediately when I realized what she’s saying.

“Oh my gosh! I over sleep. What time is it now?” I hurriedly stands-up and went to take a shower.

“It’s almost eight in the evening. The ceremony will start at eight. My gosh what happened to you. Thank goodness that I decided to come here early to help you with your dress and make up, or else we are dead.”

I made the record to shower for less than five minutes only. Allie grabs me and help me with my hair and make-up.

“I’m sorry, I did something very important that’s why I lost tract of time and over slept.”

“What is that thing you do that makes you look like a zombie now?”

“I finally made it Allie, I accepted Arthur’s rejection.” I proudly said.

She smiles brightly at me while I stare at her in the mirror.

“finally, Wendy. We can start a new life here now. Our past will never bother us anymore.” Allie says.

A knock on my door stops us from being emotional.

“Allie it’s me. The Ceremony will start in five minutes. Are you two not done yet?” Kayden shouted from the outside of my room.

Allie looks annoyed but pat her on her hand.

“We’re done now.” Allie shouted.

I look at myself in the mirror. I look tired but Allie’s transformation talent helps me hide it.

She grabs my hand and we walk out hand in hand.

“Let’s go!” Alli says to Kayden.

He shows us the way where the ceremony will be held. We walk through the back door and when we step outside, you can see a huge number of people sitting all over the area around a big bonfire. I saw Mark talking to an old lady and when he feels my stares, he looks at our way.

Again, I’m captivate with his gray eyes.

What’s happening to me? I feel more attracted to him.

‘I like him. He’s powerful.’ Lucy said.

‘Lucy, we can’t just grab a man because he is powerful.’ I scolded her. That makes her shut-up.

This ceremony is a typical ceremony which will tie our blood to the pack.

Kayden told us to go to the center where the old woman and Mark are waiting.

Allie and I stands next to each other face in left side of the elder woman while Mark stands on her right.

She chimes some ancient words that I don’t understand and grab a knife.

She cuts Allie’s right palm and blood starts to flow to the cup which the elder lady is holding. She then cuts Mark’s right palm and place Allie’s palm on him. She chimes another ancient words before she proceed on me. We did the same but when Mark and I palms united, we feel the unfamiliar sparks. I almost pull my hand but the elder woman holds it firmly as she chimes again. I can feel everyone in this pack now. The links started to moves around me until I feel the familiarity of being a pack member. I miss this feeling of security and familiarity.

I look at Mark who’s now staring at me. Why is he so handsome that I can’t even look away? There is something wrong happening right now. I can feel my heart beating so fast. Time seems to slow around us until the elder woman called Mark.

“Alpha Mark, it’s already done.” Elder woman says.

Mark and I pulls our hand away and face the crowd.

“Today, Allie whose Kayden’s’ mate join our pack as well as her best-friend Wendy. I hope that you treat them as a family and we can have a harmony and peace in this pack.” Mark turns to Allie and I. “Allie as Kayden’s mate, our people are expecting a lot from you. It is your duty to maintain the peace of this pack. Today, I am making you the Beta female of Wolf Fang pack. I expect you to do your duty. To think your pack than yourself. They are our responsibility and they always come first.”

“Yes, Alpha Mark. I will fulfill my duty as a female beta until my last breath.” Allie says.

“Wendy, I am welcoming you as a new member of Wolf Fang pack. We are expecting your loyalty and dedication to the pack. You will become one of our warriors and will be train starting tomorrow.” Mark says.

“Yes, Alpha Mark. I will fulfill my duty as a female warrior and protect our pack until my last breath.” I vowed.

I will not let him down. I will be a warrior of this pack and help them with everything I’ve got.

“And now, WE CELEBRATE!” he shouted to crown and the people shouts their excitement and happiness.

I look at Mark and when I found him, I smile at him. I’m about to move forward to talk to him more when the crowd started to line up and welcome me. They hug and kiss my cheeks as a symbol of family. Some ignores me and just eat with the others who ignore me and Allie.

I look around to see where Mark is. I don’t know what is happening to me but there’s a feeling in me that I wanted to be near him. This is what I feel when I found out that Arthur is my mate.

“Wait? Is he my mate now?”

“Who? Who’s your mate now?”

I turn around to meet those beautiful gray eyes again.

“You, you’re my mate now?” I said
