CHAPTER 22

Alessandro groaned, if the circumstances were different he would have considered it almost hot that she walked in on a meeting like this and interrupted it fearlessly, he had never met a woman like that.

He already had a lot on his plate and the last thing he wanted to deal with was to clean one of Isabella’s messes.

“Isabella”, he called out to her, “Leave this place at once", he stared at her sternly. He silently prayed in his heart that for once she would obey him, but of course, she stuck with being a dominant female that wanted to have her way by any means necessary.

“Don’t tell me what to do Alessandro!”, she retorted, “You’re inhumane and...”.

“You’re one to talk aren’t you?”, Alessandro flared, “Your brother had you kidnapped, I did it in...”.

Alessandro visibly fumed, “Good for you, but your brother poses a threat to the existence of my kind and I would kill him if I have to protect the lives of the innocent masses...”
