Artemis' POV

After the funeral, we went back immediately to the hospital. I wasn't myself on the way back there. The nurses already said that Zelo was already awake.

"Daddy!" It seems that the tears are not really drying from the eyes of the two because after seeing their father, they couldn't stop crying. Only the four of us are here now because Ares is still taking care of Macoy's belongings.

I feel numb. I felt bad that we went out immediately but I mostly felt bad that Zelo woke up without anyone beside him. It was as if something heavy was in my chest and it was making it hard to breathe.

"Every day, I overthink a lot that you won't come back to us… That you won't wake up anymore... You rested for so long, Daddy..." Athena cried and said to him while Zelo smiled just before he wiped away Athena's tears.

"Of course, I'll come back for the three of you. I still owe you three a lot..." Zelo said who also brought Hades close to him. He is quietly crying on another side of Zelo.
