Sally's POV

This has to be the worst moment of my life: meeting my boss in the club where I work, and I haven't even told him anything about working at the club. I know that I should have told him, and it would have made things a lot easier when he met me at the club, but I was so scared about telling him because I thought he was going to see me in a bad way. Right now I feel really guilty that I didn't tell him about myself completely when I know literally almost everything about him, even though he hasn't told me. In the little time I spent with him and his family, I already knew the kind of person he is and what he's going through at home.

Seeing him drink at the club by this time of the night, which is something he has never done before, made me think maybe something happened at home that he couldn't take anymore, which is why he decided to come to the club. I thought cheering him up would be a good idea. I just have to forget about the fact that he's my boss and be a lot more fle

Writer’s povElla got home and walked straight into the room; she threw her purse on the bed, pulled off her shoes, and then removed her shirt."What a day," she said to herself as she hopped on the bed. She pulled out her phone to check if she got any messages or voice notes from anybody. She's kept screwing up and screaming back down to confirm."Really? So, this boy hasn't called me today, not even a text." She muttered silently. Once again she scrolls through her call logs just to confirm if she got any calls from Justin."I think things keep getting worse day after day. Just imagine it's been days now and I have not had a one-on-one conversation with Justin. We haven't even spoken to each other like we used to. This is really not the way I expected things to be. Justin is really trying to abandon me. Of course I know I won't let her happen to me; I would never," Ella said to herself. She stood from the bed, put on her slippers, and went downstairs to check for Justin. She went to

  • The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge    Chapter 106

Writer’s POV“Am I daydreaming?” Kayla said as she cleaned her eyes to be sure she wasn’t seeing things.“My eyes aren’t seeing double; it’s clearly Zach that’s approaching me right now,” Kayla muttered to herself. Still in disbelief because she didn’t know how to approach him or what to even say to him at the moment because she already had an agreement with him that they wouldn’t be seeing each other together in the gallery because it’s only going to cause avoidable rumors.“What do I do now?” She thought to herself because she was confused about what to do because she didn’t want to be so friendly to Zach in public so it wouldn’t raise any unnecessary side talks in the gallery.Kayla was trying so hard to keep a stern face, but his eyes were so charming, and he was looking at her in such a sexy way, and she couldn’t resist not smiling back at him.“I need to leave this place before this sexy young man gets me into big trouble,” she muttered almost louder than a whisper. He was comin

She wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and see that he was most full about his actions until she heard that both of the happy parents got married, although it wasn’t his plan; it was Ella’s plan to do all of that.Ella visited his mom a few weeks ago and is still saying a lot of nonsense about how it’s helpful for Ben to live together regardless of what people think about them. It felt like she didn’t know her son anymore because what she’s hearing is totally different from the boy she raised to be a good son; he has totally changed, and she doesn’t know him anymore.“What are you doing here?” Justin's mom asked him while she was serving herself a glass of coffee; she spoke to him like she was speaking to her guest because both of them no longer have that kind o

  • The Price Of Betrayal: A Matter of Revenge    Chapter 103

Writer’s pov When Sally got back to the house, it was one of the worst moments of her life because she had never been in such a situation where everybody had something bad to say about her. Even though they didn’t know her personally, they had something to say about her, which was very sad. She realizes we do something about that so that she doesn’t see that every other person around has his because it is crazy at this point the way Kayla is the only one that has been with her for a very long time and understands her so well that they barely have any misunderstandings. Sally was very unhappy about the whole thing going on, and she really wished she could do anything just to make sure that she never works in a company again where they make her feel like trash. Working at the club was definitely a breath of fresh air because she was treated very well by her colleagues, and they did everything to make her happy. Even on her birthday, they celebrated with her and made sure that she was
