11 Strict Boss

“What’s going on here?” — our director, Mr. Koshev, asked sternly.

He walked into our — or rather, his — laboratory, giving both Polina and me a displeased look, then turned his gaze toward my peacefully sleeping children.

“Is this a daycare center now?”

The tone of our boss was sharp and full of irritation. He didn’t raise his voice, but that oppressive, intimidating aura he radiated made it hard to breathe. Standing before him, any employee instantly lost the ability to speak. I opened my mouth in fear but didn’t manage to utter a single word — nor even think of a decent excuse.

“Please, forgive us,” Polina started to justify herself, bravely taking the blame. “Don’t scold Victoria. It’s entirely my fault and responsibility. I had questions about the last batch, and I asked Victoria to help me, since I’ve never encountered anything like this before.”

The man was visibly furious — his heavy, rapid breathing and tense expression gave him away. His sharp gaze wandered around the room as he scrutinized every corner, every detail of our workspace.

We both turned pale. Because if someone wants to find a reason for reprimand, they easily will. And that’s not even counting the fact that my children were here — a perfectly valid reason for a fine on its own.

“What’s wrong with the last batch?” he asked finally, his brows drawing together on his forehead as his piercing eyes returned to us.

He’s kind of scary. There’s something frightening about him. He’s not a very tall man, with almost completely gray hair and noticeable bald spots, a slight belly — he looks his age, somewhere past fifty. But it’s not his appearance that’s intimidating. It’s the energy that comes from him.

For as long as I’ve known him, he’s always been grumpy, always dissatisfied with something. How such a kind, warm, and gentle woman like Olga manages to live with such a gloomy man — I have no idea. Maybe opposites really do attract?

It’s easy to see why Dani is always at odds with him. You simply can’t please a person like that.

“I ran an analysis on the latest batch, and the drug doesn’t react to our catalysts,” Polya began in a trembling voice. Her face had gone pale — not that I looked much better myself.

Our director clearly didn’t like her answer. A defective batch meant a pile of wasted money, since it couldn’t possibly go on sale. Of course, the people responsible for its production would be held accountable, but that still wouldn’t cover the loss — only add another headache while they hunted for whoever was to blame.

Slowly pacing the lab with his hands clasped behind his back, Nikolai stopped near my children. My heart nearly froze as I watched him study them closely. There was something like surprise — and a spark of curiosity — on his usually stern face.

“You do understand that bringing children into the laboratory is a serious violation of our company’s safety regulations, and it could also endanger the children’s health?” he scolded us — firmly, but not loudly. “Couldn’t you have left them with their father?”

Like thunder on a clear day, that seemingly innocent question hit me. It wasn’t that no one had ever asked before, but admitting to the director that the children were, well… “earned” by me, was completely out of the question — and I hated lying.

“They don’t have a father,” I replied, lowering my gaze for a moment. When I looked up, I noticed a thoughtful smile on the director’s face. He squinted at the boys and scratched his stubble, seemingly lost in thought.

“Very well,” his mood shifted abruptly to something softer. “We must deal with the defective batch properly. The more skilled specialists we have on site, the better, faster, and more accurate the process. But children really don’t belong here. I can watch them while you handle our shared problem.”

The more I kicked and tried to push him away, the harder he pressed, showing his dominance over me. Because of my resistance, my robe came undone and rode up, exposing my thighs — which Kirill immediately grabbed as he settled his heavy body between my legs. The position was overwhelmingly intense, because he was clearly aroused, and only thin fabric separated us from sex. Pressing his hardness against my crotch, he made me insanely aroused too. He knew exactly what effect it would have on me and rubbed on purpose, driving me crazy.I couldn’t resist this kind of pressure for long. Everything down there was burning with desire, pulling soft moans out of me. I was moving under him myself, chasing even a hint of the fullness my body craved. My panties were soaked through — and Kirill noticed. Unexpectedly, he pulled back slightly and tugged down his boxers, freeing his hard length.I swallowed heavily. At that point, I didn’t care about promises or restrictions anymore. I wanted to feel

Vicky:I woke up and opened my eyes sharply, as if someone snapped their fingers. One thought was pounding in my head — that I’d been asleep for half a day and the kids were on their own, hungry, miserable, and unattended. Then my instant panic settled when I remembered the boys were with my mom. There was a strange heaviness around my waist, and when I lowered my gaze, I saw a man’s tattooed arm that had slipped under my robe and was wrapped around my bare stomach.Memories of yesterday and last evening instantly crashed into my sleepy brain, making me blush. It feels like I had a fever, delirium, and — hopefully — hallucinations. The fact that Kirill was helping me express milk is something you wouldn’t see even in a nightmare, and if it really happened, I want to sink through the ground. However, another episode surfaced in my mind — one I’d also like to forget. Yesterday there was a moment when I almost let myself get weak, but that was ruined like a slap across the face by the si

I thought I’d relax, but instead I felt more and more nauseated. The cloying perfume of the blonde on my lap irritated me, as did her yapping mouth going on about something. The whole atmosphere started to piss me off, because some kind of anxiety had started creeping up inside me.After less than an hour with my brother, I decided to head back. That blue-eyed witch manages to mess with my head even from a distance! The apartment was quiet. I decided to peek into Vicky’s bedroom to make sure she was okay. The door wasn’t locked, and I saw her lying there tightly wrapped in a blanket.Cursing myself for an idiot, I was about to close the door when I heard a pained moan from her. That anxious feeling twisted in my chest again, and I walked into the room. Vicky was quietly moaning in her sleep, and I wanted to wake her. But the moment I gently touched her face, I realized she had a fever! She was burning up and delirious.I rushed out of the room, hoping to find a first-aid kit and somet

Kirill Yartsev:“Hell no I’m going to celebrate anything with you,” I hear the angry voice of my future wife.Strange, but a fact! The idea that we’re getting married somehow didn’t piss me off anymore. Maybe because this marriage is entirely on my terms? I told Vicky straight up that if I get bored with her, another woman will be warming my bed, and there’s nothing she can do about it.But that’s for the future, and for now, I’m actually not bored with her at all. Even though she won’t let me near her body, there really is something alluring about that. Honestly, if I wanted to, I could pin her down right now, but I’m insanely interested in that moment when she’ll be completely mine and won’t be able to do anything about it.The truth is, when Vicky and I are alone and stuck in a tight space, I lose my mind. I want to touch her — and not just touch. I want to say to hell with everything and take what’s mine right now, especially since her parents so kindly ensured our privacy for the

My mom covered her mouth with her hand, hiding an emotional sigh, while dad drilled the fiancé with his gaze. The funniest of all was Nazar. He sat there barely restraining his smile, watching the spectacle with keen interest."You know your daughter, she’s very proud and stubborn, so she decided to hide from me the fact that I was going to be a father," Kirill sighed sadly, pressing his lips together. "For a year and a half, I couldn’t get her out of my head; I couldn’t move on or start a new relationship," the man confessed sincerely, and I realized just how good he is! Damn it, good at acting! I could see even dad’s gaze beginning to soften. Unbelievable!"But apparently, fate was on our side, and I met Vicky at a vacation base of one of our family friends," Kirill looked at me warmly and tenderly, taking my hand. "At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes, but she was there with two little ones. My sons!" he said with feeling, and damn it, his eyes got a little watery!I watched this c

The expressions on my parents’ faces were priceless… in the worst sense of the word. Opening the door and standing there with Kirill, I left them completely confused. On top of that, my mom, stammering, blurted out:“Oh… he’s not Dani…”Kirill’s hand on my waist grew heavier, but outwardly he revealed nothing, maintaining a deadly calm.“Mom, Dad,” I started, stumbling and blushing like a schoolgirl at her first gynecologist visit. “Meet Kirill…”“The boys’ father,” Kirill continued for me, extending his hand for a handshake with my dad.I could see my dad tense up, and my mom just stood there, silently opening and closing her mouth. My dad reached out to shake his hand, and I noticed how tightly he gripped it, glaring at my fiancé.“So this is what you’re like, ASTRONAUT!”From the fierce looks of the two men, I was ready to swear that a fight was inevitable. They stared unblinkingly into each other’s eyes, their handshake firm and unyielding.Mom was the first to regain her composur
