Chapter 11

*Before Aldridge returned*

Shawn walked through the estate mindlessly and aimlessly.

Aldridge had said to him that he could choose his own fate. One, he could live under him and two, return to prison with the possibility of death on his head.

He stopped at one of the window's and looked out of it at the night sky that seemed as lonely as ever. He dropped his head as his arms stretched out against the windowsill and thought, 'But to sleep with a man?'

'He did rescue me from living in that endless pit of nothing with rats for food,' he thought again.

Looking at the darkness under his feet the image of Aldridge replayed in his mind when he climbed into the bath with his slim waist and wide hips. He released a shuddering breath as he felt his body buzz with goosebumps.

He closed his eyes and thought back to those women with whom he spent the night with and frowned. Inside he felt nothing for them and yet when he thought of Aldridge who saved him
