Chapter 121

The sun was setting and just as they thought they would have another quiet day, there was a knock on the door. Miriam was closest to the door and answered. She saw Richard standing there holding his daughter, and it looked like he had cried.

At his feet were five bags, and it was as if she travelled into the past when he would sleepover. Richard looked at her sadly and asked, “Is there an extra room for us?”

“I’ll let them know you are here. For now, you can leave your bags there and follow me to the family room.” She said and closed the door when he stepped in. 

Following her to the family room, he saw Prince Christian sitting by the fireplace, reading a book. Christian looked up and raised a brow. He looked at Miriam, who introduced who he was, then ignored Richard.

She went to let Shawn and the others know he was here. Aldridge and Joshua went to see him while Sebastian stayed in his room.
