Chapter 12

The next morning Shawn woke up and Aldridge was not in bed next to him. He frowned slightly disappointed but got up and looked out the window at the sky outside. The chamber had a view of the backyard and garden but the seats in the garden were empty so where was he?

‘What happened to wake up together and the morning kiss?’ Shawn asked himself as he stretched his limbs. He made his way to the bathing chamber and got ready with a slight gloom overshadowing him. He dressed up in casual wear that was suitable for training then went in search of this Prince of his who already broke a promise.

He met the servants along the way to Aldridge’s office and asked as he looked at the multiple teacups counting two extra, “Is Master in his office?”

“Yes he is Lord Shawn,” one of them answ
